11. Separated

Jooheon rests with his leg fixed up but he is still choked up. He repeats, "He's not dead...Hyung is not dead.

Fei looks at him and then looks at Vernon. Vernon shakes his head, knowing it will take time to accept. The girls believe JungYeon is still alive so they try not to panic as much. But Jooheon covers his face between his hands. The air is crisp cold and they are back at the abandoned cabin.

Yeeun stands up and says, "We should go and look for her!" 

Nayeon replies, "I know but it isn't the right time yet. The capital and the city is filled with Itzo and government officials. We can barely make it alive out of here. I know from the gut that they are alive."

Vernon sits next to Jooheon and Jooheon asks, "Did Hyung come?" 

Vernon replies, "He will soon. Just wait okay Hyung?" Jooheon nods and starts biting his fingernails.

"The bomb has traumatized him. We need to evacuate from Japan and head to Australia until they don't suspect that we are here....Going to South Korea or China is dangerous at this point, " says Fei. 

They all sit together in silence after agreeing with her..hopefully...wishing Hyungwon and Jungyeon are alive.

"Where am I? Where...What happened?"

A girl replies, "Finally you're awake." 

Hyungwon opens his eyes and sees Jungyeon's face hovering over him. She backs away and he sits up, but has gruesome pain on his shoulder. Jungyeon says, "You have a gunshot there.... The doctors took it out but they aren't giving you medicine for it." 

Hyungwon bites his lip as he does not want to make a sound. Jungyeon says, "Luckily the others are escaped...but they might think we are dead. We need to create an escape plan." 

Hyungwon leans against the cold wall with his uninjured shoulder. Jungyeon looks at him and he asks, "But what if we don't get out?" 

Jungyeon doesn't reply and looks at her feet. Hyungwon realizes that they both are not wearing shoes and socks, and he is changed into dark green clothes. He realizes that Jungyeon has cuts and bruises on her feet. Jungyeon stammers, "These...are...from nothing... Don't ask." 

Hyungwon smiles weakly and replies, "I won't....but you got an idea?"

Jeongyeon nods and makes sure the guards aren't looking at them. She leans in and whispers, "Act like we have a plan...technically I don't...but there are speakers in this room." 

Hyungwon nods and he replies, "Omo..We should." 

Jungyeon nods and leans away again. They both smile, understanding that they have gotten the signal to just act until they are released. Jeongyeon decides that they should talk out when they are eating because the guards' shifting time is then, so they have maximum free talking for 5 minutes.
