Dad gave his speech about finding light even in the darkest times.
"Now please dig in!"Dad said.
"Yes! I was soooo hungry!"I said to Lily while piling food on my plate.
"Your eating so much"She giggled.
"Some of us have fast metabolism Lily," A girl with blond hair
jumped into our conversation,"Hi I'm Marlene!"
"Elizabeth,"
"Yeah I heard your name during the sorting. So Your Dumbledore's daughter right?"
"Yeah,"I replied nodding.
"I didn't know Dumbledore had a daughter!"
"None of us did,"James said before turning to Lily,"Lily-Pad go out with me?"
Lily turned bright red from either anger or embarrassment,"No Potter! How many times do I have to say that before it gets through your thick skull!"
James just shrugged,"Next time then,"he turned back toward Black.
"You TOTALLY love him Lily!"Marlene squealed with her blond locks bouncing around.
"No I don't Marls, lets just go to our dorms!"Lily said changing the subject while turning a bright pink.
Lily went over to a prefect for the password.
"She loves him."Marlene said.
" I know! You'd have to be blind to not see their love for each other!"
"Well love IS blind!"Marlene exclaimed giggling.
"I'm back! Lets go,"Lily started walking back us following her,"Mandrake roots."She said promptly walking inside the Gryffindor common room.
I looked around, there was a flaming fire, couches, rugs, and two staircases that led to the boys and girls dorms.
"Are you done gawking 'cause we need to sleep." Lily said, laughing a little bit.
They led me up to the dorms while I looked around gobsmacked. The dorms had about 8 beds.
"I call dibs in this bed!" I shouted running over to the bed by the window.
Lily rolled her eyes and took the bed closest to the bathroom. Marlene jumped on the bed in between ours.
"Liz why did you get expelled from Beaxouton?"
I grinned," I blew up the Great Hall."
"WHAT!?"Lily said narrowing her eyes.
"That's AWESOME!"Marlene shouted.
"Yeah so basically I thought they wouldn't mind 'cause I spray painted 'This school is stupid' and I only got a couple of detentions."I smirked the whole time I mean who wouldn't
"I'm going to bed,"Lily announced just as three other girls came in.
"Hi,"said the middle one. She had long black hair and a large set of chocolate brown eyes," I'm Serena, this is Alice,"She pointed at the girl on her right side," and this is Lynne.
"Hi!"Said Alice.
"Hi!"shouted Lynne, she jumped on my bed and hugged me. I immediately liked her.
"Soooo... Dumbledore's your dad?"Serens asked. I nodded slowly,"Who's your mom then?"
I stayed silent for a little bit wondering if I could trust them,"...My mom died, I never knew her,"
Lynne hugged me, Lily and Marlene gave me sad looks, and Alice grew silent.
"I'm sorry,"Serena said softly.
"Alright, you didn't know 'I said, shrugging.
"Let's sleep ,"Lily said anxiously.
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight"

"Goodnight"I turned off the light and fell into another one of my nightmares.
