"Oh, no I understand" I say through the phone.

"I'm so sorry Jonny, but we had a phone call from Adele's niece saying she wanted to work here, and with her aunties great fame, we couldn't pass that up! It's just that we need all the publicity that we can get" Natalie said with sympathy in her voice. I don't know why, but something sounds fishy in her tone.

"No really! I understand, Harry has to do what's best for the Salon. I'm fine with it. I'll just look for another job" I say, trying to keep my stupid emotions under control.

"That's great that you're not giving up! Just try and have a break before you start searching again, okay?" Natalie says with seniority in her voice.

"Thank you, and I will. I might go shopping around and see what I can do to help me focus again." I said honestly.

"That's great. I have to go now darling, but I wish you all the best. And you'll never know, we might see each other every soon sometime in the future. Fate plays games with us every day" She said back comforting. We said our goodbyes and that was that. I'm really going to miss them. Yer I know I only met them for a day, but they are really lovely people and H.E.S was the Salon of my dreams, so it will take me a while to recover and start up freshly again.

I thought about what she said 'And you'll never know, we might see each other every soon sometime in the future. Fate plays games with us every day'. What is she talking about, London is a massive city. Of cause we won't see each other, maybe ones, but that's like one in a hundred times. She sounded so fishy on the phone, and I couldn't pin point what it was. It was like I was missing a whole different topic to our conversation. But it didn't change what just happened. I still didn't get my dream job.

It was only a ten minutes walk from my flat to the mall. I was trying to see where I could find some good ice cream, so I could drown my sorrows in the tasty frozen liquid. Just as I was walking, after getting my ice cream and minding my own business, this boy walked straight into me and I spilled all my ice cream down my new favourite turquoise shirt and my black jeans.

"Hey! What the actually fuck man?! Watch were your going!" I say, really pissed off at the dickhead that just spilled my ice cream all over my clothes.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! Here let me -" He cut himself off, as we realized who we collided with. "Oh my god! Jonny?!" He said with a huge grin on my face.

"Niall?" I say with confusion, making sure if it's really him. Niall was a foreign exchange student from Ireland, who moved with his family, that was in the same grade, classes and pretty much everything with me. Well, excepted hair and makeup of cause, he did wood work instead. We only had two years together because he was only there for the last two senior years of school, before his family decided to move back. But in that past two years, he also became my best friend, I could do or share anything with. He was also lucky to finish his last two senior schooling years here in the UK with me.

I didn't hesitate but to throw my arms around him to embrace him in a hug. "What are you doing here? I thought you went back to Ireland with your parents?" I say with a smile spread out on my face.

"I moved back to London, so I could find a job and live here for a while. And dude, seriously, I've got ice cream all over me now. What the fuck?" He pulled away raising his eyebrow at me in remark, then went to examine his shirt to see if there were any permanent stains.

"Your problem, not mine. If you just watched where you were going, we wouldn't be in this mess" I playfully remarked. And with old habits he just laughed at me, like time has never past.
