Prologue

"I'm very sorry, ma'am, but your son has died." The doctor looked sadly to the woman who had just given birth.

"No! It can't be true!" The woman sobbed into her husband's chest. The nurses began to unhook the stillborn child from all the machines that were attached to him.

Meanwhile....a fight was taking place between the angels and the demons. The winning side was constantly changing. Angels were turning. Demons were being destroyed. Friendships were breaking. Satan was loosing.

In all this, no one noticed the baby who appeared at the pearly gates of heaven. Brown hair, big brown eyes, he watched what was happening. Tiny wings and a golden halo indicated he had been given the gift of becoming an angel at his death which was far to quick.

A young man grabbed the hand of his good friend, who was a girl.

"I have found power! I am even stronger than before!" He said, the colour of his eyes turning black.

"You turned didn't you! How could you betray our God? How could you betray me!" The girl's eyes turned gold in a storm of emotions.

"I have been offered more than I could ever receive here!"

"No, you have been deceived! Come back!"

"You are blinded by ignorance!" The man slapped her and turned away, his cloak swishing around him. And angel attacked him, and in their fight, they moved closer to the pearly gate. No one noticed the angel baby tumble out of heaven and back to earth.

Except one angel. Who realised the extent of the baby's gift. The baby was chosen to receive the gift of seeing the future. He could do nothing to save the child, though. He would have to grow up with his powers on early.

Back in the hospital, one of the nurses looked at the child who had passed on.

"Doctor! It's a miracle! He is breathing!" With those words, celebrating ensued. The couple's child had seemingly returned from heaven. Which he had. The baby gently opened its eyes, and for a split second, they were a glimmering gold. Then they reverted to their normal brown. This child had not come back to life. He had tumbled back from heaven.
