Joji: Max help I don't think it's possible to love somebody that you just met so much.

Max: lmao chill out Joji. Do you have a picture of him?

I forwarded the picture Ian sent me last night, which I'm unashamed to say is my new phone screen.

Max: Oh damn, he's pretty good looking. I can see why you like him. Stop texting me and get ready for your date though.

I checked the time and saw he was right. I had about an hour and a half to get ready and go to the coffee shop we were meeting at.

I took a quick shower, using my scented shampoo that I love, and spending about 10 minutes fixing my hair.

I put on a pair of jeans with a black tee shirt and a green sweatshirt. I didn't get too overdressed, since it was only a coffee shop. I sat impatiently as I waited for my hair to dry, checking my phone battery.

"Fuck me." I said to myself, seeing it was at 30%. Plugging it in, I decided to clean up my house a little bit since it had gotten messy over the past week.

My phone started buzzing as I went back into my room. 5:40. I had set an alarm for 20 minutes before so I knew when to start walking down. Slipping on some shoes, I grabbed my keys, phone and wallet, locking the door behind me as I set out to meet Ian.

I stepped in the small, unbusy building and saw Ian already sitting by the window on his phone. I walked up behind him and put my hands on his shoulders, whispering boo in his ear.

He flinched up immediately and turned around, relaxing as he saw it was me. I sat down next to him at the booth he had picked out, smiling.

"Well hello there." I said, wrapping my arm around him. He grinned back at me.

"Hey, Joji. How are you?" He asked, shuffling closer to me.

"I'm amazing, now that I'm with you." There were only a few other people here, and they were all using the Internet, on either their laptops or phones, none of them paying any attention to us.

My phone buzzed next to me. I didn't plan on responding, I only picked it up to turn it on do not disturb. It was a text from max, saying "how's your gay ass date going with the guy you won't shut up about."

Ian giggled on my shoulder, obviously having read it. I opened up my phone to take a picture of the both of us. "Aw, you made my selfie your phone screen?" He said, sounding happily surprised.

"Yeah, you're too cute not to. Want to take one with me?" He nodded as I opened up the camera and took a picture of him laying on my shoulder. I smiled at it.

"Why are you so goddamn adorable? I swear, it's abnormal to love you as much as I already do after two days of knowing you." I said it quietly enough for only him to hear me.

A barista walked over to us. "You two so are cute. Would you like anything?" She asked us.

"Yeah, can I get just black coffee with sugar?" I asked her. She nodded, writing it down.

"Can I have coffee with milk and sugar?" Ian didn't move his head off my shoulder, even when she was here talking to us.

"Sure thing. It'll be ready in just a minute, your total is $8.45." I pulled out my wallet, handing her a 10 dollar bill.

"It's not a lot of extra but don't give me change, I don't want any coins or singles right now." She laughed and thanked me, walking away.

"You didn't have to pay for me, Joji. I could've paid." I smiled down at him, pulling him closer.
