The shadows snaking across the marble floor. The lightening showing sudden flashes of my fears. The rain, the tears of my sadness. The wind of my wrath. The fire of my calmness. The earth of my body. The soul of all powers. Magic has found its new life in my body, in everything around, connecting me with everything. My life is the crucial heart to this cruel world. The knowledge locked away. My spirit animal form forbidden to resurface. Keeping it hidden from prying eyes, of all these mortals. 2.34% of the worlds population is of half animal. Some of these half breeds or hybrid children, have sorcerer's Magic. No one can have magic it self, we only have power that works with magic, only people who have 'soul' can have magic within them. The legends on which soul is no longer a power and has been gone for over 3,000 years. It's called 'The destruction of all life.'

My first day to high school. My brother Sean was standing next to me craning our necks to look up at the large marble building. My two older brothers, James and Chris are already heading to the North building. Sean and I walk slowly behind Chris and James. Once we get to the entrance of the North building we wait for the Principal. Sean sighs and leans against the building crossing his arms making his muscles stand out.
"Hey Christian, you nervous or is it just me?" He says his turquoise eyes gleaming in the sun.
"No it's not just you." I say, hesitation in my voice. There are loud footsteps noting someones arrival. Sean leans off the building and uncrossed his arms putting on a more proper appearance.
"Hello, you two must be Sean and Christian Hardy. Well I am Principal Ren, you can just call me Mr. Ren. Sorry for the wait, my secretary has me do a lot of things in the morning." He chuckles to himself. "Anyway we shall get going. Please guests first." Mr. Ren holds open the big oak wood doors for us. Sean lets me enter first, he follows soon after. Our gasps leave our mouths before we can stop them. Inside, the oak wood beams make a spiraling structure towards the ceiling. The stained gray marble floor shines brightly like the moon light shining down onto a lake. I look up at the ceiling noticing a large chandelier hanging high above us. There are two staircases that swirl up onto the second floor. Straight ahead from the entrance is another door, but equivalently smaller, and has all the elements carved into the light wood. Mr. Ren leads us straight to the door walking briskly crossing the room in very little time.
"I must apologize, I would show you around today, but I have a very tight schedule for the rest of the afternoon." Mr. Ren apologizes, bowing his head slightly. "I have some people who are in here that will show you around, and this is the library." He says with a small smile on his face. He pushes open the door, letting us walk through and into the bright library. Mr. Ren points over in the direction of the large circular window. We thank him and walk in the direction of where he pointed. As we walk past book shelves I trail my finger along the spine of the books. Sean turns around only to find me walking very slowly in his direction.
"Christian, come on." He sighs, slouching his shoulders and sticking out his bottom lip. I shake my head taking my hand off of the spine of the books quickening my pace to come to where he is stopped. We walk for a little bit longer until we come upon the large circular window. A boy and a girl with brown hair are sitting there on one of the window seats. We approach them slowly not exactly sure if they were the people that were going to be our escorts for the day.
The girl notices us first, whipping her head around to find us standing awkwardly. She grins and jumps up running to us. Once she gets to me she grabs my hands and holds them up , turning her chocolate brown eyes to stare into my blue ones.
"Hello! I am Hanji!! What's your name?!" Hanji says very excitedly. Her loud voice almost echoes throughout the library. "Hello Hanji, I am Christian Hardy." I say and smile calmly at her. The boy grabs Hanji and pulls her back. She pouts as he pushes her to say hi to Sean. I tilt my head up to look into his green eyes.
"I apologize on her behalf. She is always that energetic. Anyway my names Eren." The boy says extending his hand to me, I firmly shake his hand, re-introducing myself again. "Hi, my names Christian Hardy. " I look over to see Sean staring uncertainly down at Hanji's, unsure of how to handle her craziness.
"Hi my names Hanji! What's yours?! She's your sister right?!" Hanji says loudly.
"Hello Hanji my name is Sean. And yes she is my sister." He says, a handsome smile on his face.
Eren walks over to Sean and the introduce them selves. Once the introductions are done Hanji leads the way to our next location.
"Alright!! Let's get to class!" Hanji exclaims excitedly bounding off through the doors and back into the main entrance. Eren walks behind with us, as we watch Hanji sprint up the stairs on the second level her thundering footsteps disappear off into the distance. Eren sighs in annoyance running his hand through his hair.
" Well like she said, off to class." Eren says smiling slightly as we trail far behind Hanji.
