Chapter 6

*Lara's POV*

"Oh yeah, I'm gay, bye Lara." he said, with tears in his eyes, as he stormed out and drove off.

I was shocked. Dougie was gay? Maybe it was sarcastic? Maybe it was just anger, or maybe a cover up? I didn't even mean to become pregnant...

"Hey, Doug, I've been invited to a party and I can bring a plus one, will you come?"

"I don't know, Lara, I mean, it might not be safe."

He didn't mean because he was famous, he meant the alcohol.

"Okay, I understand, I won't stay out too late, and I'll try not to get to drunk." I smiled, to reassure him.

A few days later, I went to the party. I felt a bit emptier anyway because Dougie wasn't there, but I also felt a bit bad, even though I knew he wouldn't want me to feel bad. I had an alarm set on my phone for 11, so I could be back and we could still spend the night together.

I kept being offered more drinks, and the more drinks I had the more I wanted. 11 o'clock came and went. I lost my jacket in the crowd so I couldn't text Dougie. By midnight, I was completely drunk out of my mind, and I'm ashamed to admit it, I'd kissed almost every guy in the room. There was one who kept coming back for more, and we ended up in bed, too drunk to think.

I never even got his name, and I can hardly remember a thing from that night anyway.

I decided to leave Dougie for a few days, to cool down. But what good is it if he's gay, he won't want me back.

*Tom's POV*

I didn't know Dougie's decision, and I was dying to know but I didn't want to seem nosy. I tried to forget about it and go to sleep, but I had to leave my phone on in case he decided to call me. I eventually dropped off, but I was woken up at 8 from my phone ringing, much to Gi's annoyance. I saw it was Dougie, grabbed the phone, and left the room.

"You alright, mate?" I asked, trying not to sound to eager.

"Not really, no." Damn, that's not what I wanted to hear.

"What? What happened? Tell me everything."

"I decided I wanted Harry."

"Well, that's great isn't it?"

"Yeah, it's not that."

I didn't say anything.

"Well, basically, I went home, you know, I planned to tell Lara, and well she told me she was pregnant."

"Shit man, what you going to do? But hey, congratulations, I guess"

"But mate, that's not even the thing I'm annoyed about. It's not my kid."

"Wait, what? So she had an affair?"

"Yeah, she claims she was drunk, but I don't know whether to believe her."

"But Doug, why are you pissed off? Surely, that's just made it easier?"

"Well yeah, but it doesn't change things, she cheated on me, when I thought we were close. I'm scared it will happen again."

"With Harry? No way, not a chance. Do you know how long he's been chasing you, he loves you, he would never do that."

"Are you sure?"

"110% positive."

"Okay, but I'm blaming you if it goes wrong."

"Okay, fine. Wait, where did you stay last night?"
