Chapter 8

~Song Kenta and Max sing~

~Kenta P.O.V~

Once lessons had finished, I decided to go to this host club thing that Haruhi was in with Max, well I more like dragged him there.

When we got to music room 3, I opened the doors and was attacked by rose petals. 'What the actual fuck!?' I questioned in my head. Not only was I attacked by rose petals, but also blinded by the bright light. I also heard seven voices say 'welcome'.

The bright light soon subsided, and the host club stood in front of them. The annoying blonde, Tamaki, came running up to me and almost suffocated me.

"He-hey T-tamaki, c-cou-ld yo-u l-et go?" I asked, struggling for breath.

"Oh, sorry Kenta!" Tamaki said cheerfully. "And whose he?" He asked again, pointing at Max.

"That's Max, he's a friend from America" I told him. I then felt my phone vibrate, and took it out. I looked at the screen and it was a reminder that I needed to take meds for my heart. So I quickly took the right bottle out, along with my water and took it.

The host club, except Haruhi, Takashi, and Kyoya, looked at me strangely. 'Oh yeah, they don't know, but how does that glasses creep Kyoya know?!' I thought, slightly angrily.

"The meds are for Kenta's heart" Max said with a slight shrug. They looked at me again, and Tamaki hugged me again, this time with tears in his eyes.

"Oh!!!!My poor son!!!" He wailed out.

After a while of Tamaki crying, Kyoya told them that the guest would be here shortly. They all got in position, whilst me and Max sat in the corner talking about nothing and everything.

~Time Skip~

About half way through, a group of girls came over and sat opposite us. I looked at Max and he had the same look as me, confusion and shock.

"Urm...Is it o-ok if w-we sit h-here?" A girl with long dark brown hair and blue eyes said. Me and Max looked at each other once more and nodded.

"T-thank y-you" A girl with black hair and green eyes said timidly.

"S-so...What are your hobbies?" The last girl asked. She was slightly shorter than the other two, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

"My hobbies are singing, playing instruments, and... Kendo" I told them, giving them a smile.

"Well, I like singing, playing instruments, art, and acting" Max told them.

"Could you sing us something?!" The brunette asked excitedly.

"Sure, we can sing a duet if you want?" They all nodded their heads at that.

"So, we sining 'what is love'?" Max questioned, already knowing the answer was yes. I pulled out my phone and found the song with no lyrics, so we could sing their parts.

We stood up, and I played the music, and we started to sing.

After we finished, a crowd of both hosts and guests had gathered. They were all clapping. 'Maybe this host club isn't so bad after all' .
