I sat down, pulled out my book, and began reading. "Hey, what do you want to eat for dinner?" My mom asked walking into my room. "I'm fine, I don't need anything right now." I replied putting my bookmark in my book. "Well, okay. Tell me if you need anything." she said walking out of the room. My mom looked just like my grandfather, well, of course because he's her dad, her big blue eyes, and her smile look just like my grandfather. That's why I would always admire looking at mom, she reminded me of my best friend when I was little, my grandfather.
The next day, was a time when my heart broke the most. The day when my grandfather died. (8/3/2013, was the day my grandfather died.) We would go to his cemetery, and would bring flowers to show our respect. We would spend at least 30 mins there, we all miss him, and I missed him the most.
"Ellie, come for dinner!" my mom called, I ran downstairs and began eating. I taste the juicy chicken and warm noodles, and of course the creamy Alfredo sauce. Mom makes the best Chicken Alfredo in Branson, Missouri. "Mom, you definitely need to make a restaurant." My brother Ethan said. "Yeah, you would make loads of cash!" I agreed. "Your mom and I love our jobs, let's set that idea for plan B." My dad said. "Haha, you guys know I can't afford to pay for the restaurant bills. Like your dad said, we love our jobs already." My mom said. I can tell the "love our jobs" part was a lie, why would my mom love a job where she only made $2 an hour serving customers? And why would my dad love a job where he makes only $5 a hour carrying heavy boxes, which makes him tired instantly? Exactly.
