I watched the road as we drove to our new home. We are moving to Laguna Beach California. To far away from my old home in London.

My parents sat in the front talking away. My younger brother Franklin was on my dad's phone doing God knows what.

My older sister, Hailey was sitting between me and Franklin listening to music. Me, I was doing the same as Hailey.

"We're here." My dad announced getting out if the car.

I got out of the car when I was hit by cold rain. My smile turned shocked.

"To much rain for you little sis." Hailey said walking in the house.

"Shut up." I said through gritted teeth.

I looked at my surroundings and saw it was a three story house. I walked around the back and saw a huge pool. My shocked face changed to happy. Then I saw the moving truck and ran back to the front side if the house

DEREK POV

I watched outside my window as a blue BMW i8 pulled up the driveway next to ours.

Really? Neighbors. It couldn't have been abandoned for the rest of its living life? I thought.

Then my mom and walked in my bedroom followed by my little sister Dalia.

"C'mon, we are going to meet our new neighbors." My mom said.

She knows how much I hate seeing new people.

"Yeah, OK. But I'm not changing." I said following them outside. I had on my boxers and a tank top.

My mom grabbed the cookies she made last night and walked to the new people house.

BAILEY POV

I saw four people walk to our house one in her late thirties. She had two kids, one looked the same age as Franklin, and the other looked a year older than me.

"Pst, mom, there are three people walking our way." I whispered tapping my mom on the shoulder.

She turned and smiled. "You guys must be Daley's? We're your neighbors. I'm Diane, this is my son Derek, and that's my daughter Dalia." Diane said.

I looked over at the boy, he had on his boxers and a tank top. He must really not care what he wears.

"I'm Grace, this is my husband Frank, my older daughter Hailey, my younger daughter Bailey, and my son Franklin." My mom said.

I looked at them. Derek has brown hair. Dalia has orange. Diane has orange hair. Now I see where the kids get the color of hair.

DEREK POV

Bailey was giving me a disgusted look. Gosh, I like what I'm wearing. I look nice. Now she looks bad.

"Here." My mom said giving them the cookies she grabbed before coming over.

"Thanks, but your should not have made any for us." Grace said smiling.

"It's to show how happy we are to have new neighbors. That house has been abandoned for two years. I keep my kids up on keeping it clean for new people. We're really happy to have you as ou-"

"Mom, I think they understand." I said interrupting her.

"Oh, right. Sorry, I talk so much." She said smiling widely.

"That's okay." Frank said laughing.

"Well, it was nice meeting you guys. We have to get going home so I can cook supper. Bye." My mom said.

"Bye, it was nice meeting you guys." Grace said and turned and picked up boxes.

I followed my mom in the house thinking about that disgusting look that blondie gave me.

"What do you guys want for supper!" My mom asked.

"Your pasta!" Dalia yelled.

"Sounds good." I agreed.

My mom walked to the kitchen and began cooking as I went to my room. My phone buzzed on my desk. I had a call! I walked over to it and saw it was Jace, my friend.

"Hello." I asked bored.

"Dude, really. Do you really have to. I was going to tell that there's a party at Natale's house.'

"You mean Natale Gale?"

"Nah, Natale Santa Claus." He said sarcastically.

"Yeah, I'll come. And quit with this sarcastic attitude." I said and hung up.

"Dalia, Derek! Supper!" My mom yelled from downstairs.

I put my phone on my black nightstand and walked downstairs.

I saw my moms pasta on the table and sat down. It's going to be a long night.

BAILEY POV

After unpacking I got a message from Taylor, my old friend.

House the life living in a rich city? :)

Could be better. Haven't really done much. Met my new neighbors. They seem like not-so-much-caring people. :')

Lol, text me tomorrow.

Okay, bye.

Bye.

"Bailey! Supper!" My mom yelled.

I walked downstairs and saw my whole family already sitting at the table munching away.

Jerks.

After eating I watched a few shows then went to bed.

~*~

I woke up to my alarm clock going off.

First day of my new school, ugh. I got up and took a shower then dressed in a blue tank top, light blue skinny jeans, and some Ugg boots.

I comed my blonde hair and but it in a braid. I walked downstairs and ate some cereal then left. I got in my blue BMW i8 and drove to my new school.

The only parking space there was by a motorcycle that had three guys crowding it.

I parked my car and got out. I heard one of the guys whistle. I turned and saw them looking at me.

One was Derek. He drives a motorcycle? Who knows, he could also be a killer.

I gave them a disgusted look to show I'm not interested and left.

DEREK POV

I heard Caleb whistle so I turned. Standing there by a blue BMW was Bailey. She gave us a disgusted look to show she wasn't interested, and left.

"Dude, that new girl is smoking." Caleb said and Jace agreed.

"And my neighbor." I said following the boys inside the school.

We stopped by my locker and Natale walked up to us. "Derek, you skipped my party."

"Sorry." I said.

"You missed your girlfriends party."

"Girlfriend? Ha, no. I sleep with you then threw you to the side like every other girl. Get over the fact that, I. Don't. Like. You." I said walking to class.

Honestly, I don't like her I used her like the rest. That's just how I am.
