When I wake up, Harry is still lying next to me, soft snores escaping from his parted lips. I find myself pleased that he stayed the entire night, but then again the only reason he did stay was because he was drunk out of his mind. There was something about him last night that was different; he wasn't that arrogant bastard that I had met the night before.

I put my thoughts to the side as I grab my toiletry bag and towel and head for the showers. After I have showered, I swipe a few strokes of mascara on my lashes and apply some powder on my face before walking back to the room. When I enter the room, Harry is sitting up in my bed.

"Don't look," I say quietly, feeling the tingling heat flush across my cheeks.

"Wouldn't want to," he replies dryly, and a small part of me suddenly feels hurt by his comment.

Back to himself I see.

I glower at him as I grab my clothes and change into a pretty pair of shorts with tiny pink flowers all over them, a white Fray concert t-shirt, and my coral Vans behind the closet door. As I reemerge, I watch as Harry puts on his shoes and head towards the door.

Not that I'm surprised.

"You're welcome," I shout as he slams the door shut. I mentally curse myself for thinking that Harry could be kind and respectable.

The minute I turn my hair dryer on, I hear Iris groan.

"Ally turn that damn hair dryer off," she yells over the loud noise, "I don't have to be up for another hour!"

After a couple minutes, my hair is almost entirely dry except for one spot towards the back of my head, but I deicide to let it go for Iris's sake as I switch the loud device off. I grab my bag and my books and toss a quick good-bye over my shoulder to Iris before I make my way to my first college class.

About halfway through my walk I suddenly realize that I forgot to grab my denim jacket lying over my desk chair. I nervously glance down at my arms, quickly hiding them behind my books. I was just going to have to deal without it today.

Just as my stomach growls in hunger, my eyes suddenly catch a cute little bistro on the other side of the road. When I walk in, the smell of pastries and coffee instantly overwhelms my senses, making my mouth water. I decide to buy a chocolate chip muffin and an iced coffee to wash it down, and as soon as I take the first bite, I mentally set a reminder to come here tomorrow too; the food is delicious.

Just as I am about to walk out the door, a familiar voice calls out my name.

"Ally!"

I turn around, happy to see Zayn walking over with a big smile painted across his face.

"Hey," I greet him, giving him a small smile. If there was one person who could definitely put me in a better mood today, it was Zayn.

"Shit, what happened to you?" he suddenly asks, wide worried eyes locking on my cheek.

"Oh, I uh, someone opened the door on me in the dorms. They didn't see me on the other side," I quickly tell him, mentally patting myself on the back for coming up with such a good lie on such short notice.

"Are you alright? Did you see a doctor or something or-"

"I'm okay," I insist, admiring the way he's getting all worked up over a little harmless bruise that'll disappear in a few day's time.

"Okay.. Well, then.. how are you liking Wilmington?" he asks me, shooting me a bright grin as he holds the door open for me.

"It's a really nice town, and everything is in walking distance which is good," I answer, meeting his gaze.
