Nolan.
I pulled up to the side of the library while my phone started ringing. Taking it out from my back pocket I looked over Tamiras number and answered it.
"What" I said as I spotted Amaris coming out the library.
"I have an doctors appointment Tommorow and the father needs to be there."
"don't start this shit today."
"look are you coming or not."
"I don't know yet. Can't you reschedule or something?" I asked starting up the car.
"No, and I'm not going to. You said you wanted proof to see if it was your baby. So be here at the doctors appointment so we could ask questions"
"Like I said if you can't reschedule the shit then oh well" I hung up putting my phone in the cup holder.
"Who was that?" Amaris asked easing her eye a bit.
"Nobody important. How was work ?"
"Bad. I mean how could I work when all I was thinking about was yesterday" she sighed "I have a sister I'm just finding out about. My mom is acting like a different person. And please don't get me started with Chris Or whatever his name might be"
"You still got me right" I slightly smiled stopping at a red light.
"Please don't leave me" she mumbled as I put her hand in mines rubbing over it gently.
"I'm not"
"Okay good because I need to see my pops today."
"A-"
"And before you say anything just remember you said you would help." She cut me off.
"You lucky" I said as the light turned green.

we pulled up in the driveway and Amaris got out the car walking up to the porch. I soon stepped out the car once she started knocking on the door.
"look who's back" he laughed. When was this nigga ever not drunk.
"hey pops we need to talk"
"termites can't talk" he laughed again.
Steeping in front of Amaris he put the bottle of liquor down and laughed in my face as I shrugged my shoulders sending a quick blow to his face.
"Listen my girl said she need to talk to you so your ass is about to hear her out" I mumbled in his ear as he stepped aside.
"Pops I was looking over some rehab facilities at work and I think I found one." She looked around "I applied and they sent me an email saying it would take three to four business days to come in with you"
"I don't need no fucking rehab" he yelled "what I need is your mom to come and hop on this dick"
refraining from punching his ass again Amaris sat down on the couch and motioned for me to do the same.
"honestly you do. Because I'm sure you have no clue what's going on around here anymore"
"Shut the hell up." He mumbled "you think you better then me now is that it ?"
"No all I'm trying to do is help you. I've been trying to do that since day one"
"damn right" I mumbled .
"I don't need your fucking help. Termite ass don't know what you talking about get the hell out"
Getting up off the couch she went in the kitchen and began to grab his liquor bottles.
