chapter twelve

we finally got to the cinema and we decided to see two movies; finding dory and the purge.

"can we watch the purge then finding dory? so i won't be scared out of my mind?" i asked.

"sure anything for you babe." harvey said while laughing.

max rolled his eyes. what's up with him lately? we went in to the movie theatre and i sat next to harvey, max went to see the lion king, so i decided to text him.

max- ma moriah-mo
mo- hey i saw you roll your eyes today at me and harvey, what's up?
ma- i can't say.
mo- why?
ma- i promised to not interfere with things..
mo- i'm gonna tell harvey that i need to use the bathroom meet me by the girls room so we can talk, okay?
ma- ugh fine

"hey harvey i need to go to the bathroom I'll be back in a sec." i said.

"okay babe." harvey said.

i walked out of the theatre and saw max. i went over to him and we started talking.

"so?" i asked.

"can we walks around and talk?" max asked.

"sure." i said and we started walking around the mall.

"so can you tell me now?" i asked.

"well there's two things..." max said.

"what's the first thing?" i asked.

"well...uh...i.......uh...kinda have a....crush on you." max said while looking at the ground.

"how will that interfere with things?" i asked.

"well it doesn't i guess...but the second thing will. that's why i can't tell you." max said.

"please tell me i need to know." i said.

"you're right. well, harvey is um cheating on you..." max said.

"what. no. with who?" i asked while getting tears in my eyes.

"uh...that aaliyah girl." max said while wiping my tears away.

"i can't believe him." i said.

"well if you don't believe me, i have picture of them....um...kissing." max said while pulling out his phone.

"show me." i said.

max showed me the picture. i can't believe it. my boyfriend cheating on me. with aaliyah. one of my friends. i ran out of the mall. i couldn't tell if max was running after me but i heard someone call my name. then everything went black.
