I let out a short breath as I pushed open the door into the school, my boots hitting the linoleum with a satisfying sound as I walked through the main hall.
I found myself wondering if Aiden was here already...
Biting my lip, I shook my head slightly and exhaled. Remember your image Yuu, you can't ruin it.
The chains on my black jeans jangled together as I felt the glaces of people against my back, I bit at the ball of my angel bite pearcing subconsciously as I turned a corner.
From the second I came to this school I was different... everyone always stares, everyone always acted like I would immediately punch them in the face if they got in my way. And I guess... I just kind of let that grow, and turn into who I am.
I passed Aiden sitting in the stairwell and my being felt pulled to him, to sit and talk... but my image...
He seemed to hear me, by either the chains or my combat boots. He looked up at me, slightly hopeful, yet already disappointed. I wanted to smile lovingly and tell him that I'd see him tonight in his room, but my image keeps me from it.
Instead I pulled my lips into a tough guy smirk and nodded my head as I passed.God even that made me feel like shit...
Regardless, it's a small price to pay. I fixed my hair and turned a corner, sighing as I entered my first hour.
Today was going to suck ass.
I sat in the back of the room, feeling as shitty as ever as the teacher entered the room.
The only thing on my mind was the feeling of Aidens soft, pale, Norwegian lips on mine, and the way his eyes sparkled in the starlight.
Exhaling, I let my mind wander. I wonder if maybe... we're really like... together together or.. friends with benefits. I'm still glad that he's not pushing me away... but... I kind of am now, aren't I?
I'm starting to regret this. I'm regretting not dropping this act...
I run my fingers through my hair and sigh as the bell rings at class starts, the classroom chatter dying as anouncments come on over the PA.
Here goes nothing....

Lunch, same drab disgusting food as usual... I really need to start packing my lunches.
I exhaled as I exited the cafeteria, I never eat in there so... no need to stay. I made my way to the nearest stairwell, and voices caught my attention.
I heard faint yelling and gay slirs as lockers slammed. Usually, this is something I ignored. But... not today.
I abandoned my lunch and started following the sounds, my adrenaline starting to pump. If it's Aiden... I don't care if will make them pay...
The sounds of violence were coming up the stairs and my boots clomped on the floor as I rounded the corner to see jocks pushing Aiden against the wall.
"Little fucking exchange faggot" they jeered as Aidens face was fushed and full of fear.
My blood boiled and my eyes flared, my hands balling into fists as I saw one of them grab Aiden my his hair, pulling harshly and making him yelp. "S-stop please!"
They all just laughed, one hitting him across the face.
That was my snapping point. I quickly went up to them and grabbed two of them by the collar. "Back. The fuck. Off."
"Oh hey, look, it's the emo one. Coming to save your little boyfriend or were you just looking for a secluded place for you and your razor blade?" the brown haired jock in this yellow and black letterman jacket laughed, joined by the others.
I growled. "I'll have you guess that one, assole. Now, either you back off, or I beat your pathetic asses until you beg for your mommies. Now, what will it be, boys?"
He chortled, "who does fucking gay think he is?" we said to his buddy before glancing at me "we'd pound your ass to the ground. Or would you like that, pretty boy?"
I raised my eyebrows, I'm sorry but even if I was gay I would never sleep with you, your pathetic dick is as small as a tick tack anyway so. No thank you. But in other matters..."
I balled my fist and slammed it against his jaw, grabbing the other one and quickly throwing him to the ground, then lifting my leg and bringing it down against his back with a crack.
I smirked as I kicked them in their ribs, steping over to Aiden.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked him, consern filling my face as I scaned his, a red hand mark across his pale cheek.
He looked up at me, "i-im fine..."
I pursed my lips and exhaled softly, glancing at his hands and seeing that they were shaking horridly. "Aiden... you're going into shock. It's okay now. They won't mess with you."
He stared down, his eyes dull and his pupils dilated.
I picked him up and carried him over the jocks groaning on the floor, down to where my lunch is and sitting him down.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there sooner... either way I'm glad they didn't do anything too horrible... I'm sorry."
He shook his head and stared at his hands. "It's fine... trust me it's alright. I thought... you wouldn't come to be honest..."
I slid in to the shadows, behind a corner with him and held him close. "shhh... I'll always be there. If I even have suspicion that you're in a fight or hurt in any way, I'll be there to help..."
I grabbed his hand and looked at him, and he exhaled. "Thank you..."
"Don't thank me, Aiden. Okay? It's what I do. I care about you. Now when the bell rings, get an ice pack and make sure you keep your cheek iced. That should help the swelling."
He nodded and bit his lip. "Okay..."
I looked at him, then kissed his cheek lightly. "Have you eaten?"
He looked up shyly "...no, they got to be before I could get to the cafeteria"
I grabbed my food and handed it to him. "Eat. You need it, Aiden."
The blonde looked at me. , "Yuu... thank you..."
"It's no problem! Now the bell is about to ring, eat quickly and head to the office, okay?"
I looked at him, slightly confused "Hey, I have to go, but uh before I do," I scratched at the back of my neck, "are we like, together or just like really good friends with small benefits?? I-I was just wondering."
He looked at me. "Um... I would think we're together..."
I smiled and pecked his lips lightly, "okay... good... now, go, to the office."
The bell rung as I quickly walked down the hall, my cheek hot with a wide smile on my face and pep in my step. I can't remember the last time I was this happy.
I swung around into my art class, another place that makes me happy, maybe this day is looking up...
