Summer
"I reject you."
Those three simple words can put any wolf in pain. Being rejected is the worst feeling ever. It's suppose to feel like your soul being split into two.
But that's all a lie. Being rejected feels nothing like that. Nowhere even close to that feeling.
I, Summer May Meadows, is being rejected by my mate in a closet without feeling any pain at all.
"Alright," I said shrugging, not surprised to find my situation the cliche Alpha- rejects-the-nerd.
He looked at me with shock in his features. "What? How are you so understanding?" I sighed deeply while looking at my hands. "What do you mean?"
"Why aren't you crying?! Why aren't you feeling any pain?!" he screeched. I turned my gaze back to him in annoyance. "Why the hell do you care again? Aren't you the one doing the rejecting? And besides, I would be dead if people saw me with a person like you." He looked at me and stuttered,"I-I-I..."
I tapped my foot with impatience. "Well? I don't have all day here. Mrs.Gavin will kill me for being late." He looked ready to cry. "But you're my mate! How are you perfectly fine with this?!"
I pinched the bridge of my nose to try to calm myself down. "There's another guy right? That's why you're so fine with the rejection!" I rolled my eyes and looked into his eyes.
Such a dark shade of blue. "Look. Just get on with it already. I have my life to go to and you have your sluts to satisfy you." He growled lowly but his face still displayed hurt.
Bi-polar much? "I, Alexander Green, reject you, Summer Meadows." I sighed happily and smiled as I said the next words. "I accept your rejection. Now can you move? I'm going to be late for class."
I pushed past him and swung open the closet door. I walked out of the tiny room, leaving a very confused and hurt Alpha behind.
