Painless Rejection

Chapter 3

Alexander

"I can't believe the nerve of that girl," I told my friends as they laughed their asses off. "Dude! She owned you!" My best friend and Omega laughed. "I was seriously going to pull out Klover's $100 lotion for you to apply to your burn," he said, falling off the chair. He held his stomach as he laughed. I glared.

But one thing was...how was she not hurt after I rejected her? Honestly it hurt a bit to know that she didn't care. Wait. What? When have I, Alexander Greene, ever feel hurt because of a mousey loser of a girl? I shook my head and scowled.

Then I looked up. Vanilla and cinnamon. It was her. Looking around (being disecret about it of course) I spotted her with...a guy? Upon a closer look, I realized it wasn't just a guy. It was Xander Davies. What the hell was she doing with  him? I turned back.

Who she hangs out with doesn't concern me. It's her life and not mine. "Hey Alex. Klover alert," Hezekiah warned. I groaned. What does this witch want from my life? Just because I slept with her and made out with her does not mean I like her.

" Hey babe," she purred. I groaned out loud. " What the hell do you want?" I asked, annoyed already. She gave me a pout. "Come on Alex. Don't tell me you found new trash already." I rolled my eyes.

"Guys. We're leaving," I said, ignoring her. Some snickered but still got up and followed me. " Oh by the way Alex. I think that loser from this morning found a boyfriend," she called out.

I stopped but forced myself to keep going. I don't care about what she does with her life. I don't care if she has a boyfriend. I don't.

Yes you do and you know it, a smug voice said. I frowned. Shut up.

Summer

"Everyone's talking about you!" Wendy squealed. I sighed and walked to the cafe with her and everyone stared at me as if I grew two heads. "I don't know why it's such a big deal anyways," I groaned.

I pushed the glass door and walked into the cafe where more people pointed and whispered. Hello, I can hear you.

"Yo Summer!" I turned around and almost bumped into Wendy. I furrowed my eyebrows. Uhhh, why was Xavier Davies talking to little old me?

Wendy's eyes widened and she looked apologetically at me before dashing off. What was her problem? I turned my attention back to Xavier. "Me?" I asked stupidly. He laughed and then slung a arm around my shoulders.

I grunted. "You're so heavy," I complained. He laughed loudly before smirking. I rolled my eyes and sighed. " What do you want?" Before he could reply, a loud bang was sounded in the room and all heads turned to Klover who was shouting," Oh by the way Alex. I think that loser from this morning found a boyfriend."

Loser? Oh I think she means me. Gee, thanks to know that I'm a loser when I'm clearly not the one pathetically making out in front of a locker to try and get someone mad.

I snorted. "So, I want a favor."
