This is my best friend since kindergarten, Luna. She's the only person that gets me. We stayed with each other through thick and thin.

We lean in and hug, gripping onto each other. I slip away slowly putting my head down.
I jump in the car with my mom and brother. I look out the window to see my best friend in her moms arms crying. I turn my head not wanting to see it. I put on my headphones blasting the music, slowly drifting off to sleep. Thinking about what it's going to be like in Omaha.
