Madison's POV

My brother Ryder shakes me, so I would wake up. I pull myself up and look out the window.
I saw the house I would be living in for the next couple years. It was huge!
The house had three stories by look of it. I open the door quickly wanting to see the inside.
I run up to the door and open it. I look in and see beautiful furniture.
" Hey Mom, where's my room?" I scream
" Top floor" she replies

I run up the flight of stairs all the at to the top. I notice there is only one room up here.
I go into the room and it was humongous. I had a king sized bed with cute sheets.
My whole room had a white and grey theme. I see two other doors in he room and head over to them.
I open the one on the left and see a big bathroom. It was a beach theme.
I stare at it in amazement. I walk out and go to the door on the right.
I walk in and see a walk in closet. There was clothes all hanged up. I can't believe my mom did all this for me.
I walk downstairs to go thank my mom.
" Thank you so much mom" I say
" Your welcome honey." She replies hugging me
" Why don't you go out and try to meet some new friends." She adds on
Hearing the word friends, triggers something inside of me. I start to think about Luna and tear up.
" That's gonna be hard mom." I say with glossy eyes
" Don't worry, it's all going to be okay." She says hugging me again
I go upstairs and change into something different. It's colder in Omaha than in California. I put on a black sweater and black leggings with white Nikes.
I leave the house and start to walk around the neighborhood. While I'm walking something comes flying towards me. I catch it quickly not wanting it to hit me.
" Nice catch" a boy said running towards me
" Thanks" I said going him the ball back
" You new around here?" he asks
" Yup, just moved here today." I reply
" Wanna join me and my friends, a pretty girl like you shouldn't be all alone?" He asks
" Sure" I reply blushing
He grabs my hand leading me towards his group of friends.

" By the way, my name is Jack Johnson."

I smile in return. We finally reach the group and they all turn their heads towards me.
" Hi, I'm Madison Beer and I just moved here today." I said while waving
" hi" everyone replies.
I look around and see a kitten waking around. I walk towards it and put it in my lap. I pet it's soft fur, while its purring.

" Woah." I hear someone say
I look up to see a boy with brown hair.
" Hi" I respond
" I'm Jack Gilinsky, what's your name?" He asks
" Madison Beer" I reply looking down
" Why are you sitting here all alone?" He asks while lifting up my chin
" Not very good at meeting new people." I reply blushing
" Well we're getting along pretty well, plus you wouldn't want to know those
people, it's jacks party buddies." He says making me feel better
" That's good to know , but I have to get home to help unpack." I say
I start to stand up and then Jack gets up with me.
" I gotta get your number before you leave ." He says pulling out his phone
" ok" I say giving him my number.
I put my number in his phone then start heading home with a smile on my face.
This day has been better than I thought.
