Hi~

N a m j i n   i s    l i f e u .

Love y'all.

Namjoon wasn't feeling good. It looked like his first day in Uni was going to be the crappiest of his life. He was running late to his first class and was already imagining the humiliation he would feel, entering the crowded auditorium with everyone looking at and judging him. Plus, he was lost like a bottle in the ocean. He couldn't even spot anyone to ask for directions, as the place was suddenly and strangely empty. Please, someone, explain to the world why did Namjoon chose this huge university to attend, because right at this moment, he himself couldn't remember the reason. And maybe someone can also explain how in the heaven can that huge college be that deserted.

As he was running past a gloomy and silent hallway he must have crossed a thousand times, he heard a soft humming coming from the only room with an open door. He stumbled and stopped, nearly falling face front, because that's how clumsy Namjoon is.

Maybe, someone to help me, he thought as he walked backward to the door, again close to trip in his own feet.

In the middle of the room, on a small desk, was sitting a young man who was about Namjoon's age, maybe older, and who looked... hella good. Because the room was all dusty, the sunlight was luminous and surrounded the cross-legged boy in a great halo. The clumsy boy stood there for a while, by the door, listening to the captivating melody the other was humming and enjoying the view, before coming back to his sense.

"Eh.. 'Scuze me," said Namjoon, and for some reason that reminded him of his friend Jimin.

The man looked up from the notebook he was reading and looked at the source of the sound. Kim Namjoon couldn't ignore the cute rounded eyes and the slightly parted (and irresistible) pulpy lips. It did something to his belly.

"H-hi, sorry for the intrusion," said a flustered pink haired dork.

The really handsome man hummed a no and shook his head. "Can I help you?"

Namjoon blinked a few time to prevent himself from staring. "Yes, actually, I'm new here and I'm kind of lost, and terribly late to my class. Can you... maybe... help me?"

The boy took a few seconds to answer, staring surprisingly at the other. "Pfft..." It started from a chuckle, but soon enough he was holding his belly, hurting from laughter.

"Are you making fun of me?" Namjoon tried to sound pissed but hell, that laugh was contagious.

"I-I'm sorry," the other managed to say in between two breathes. When he finally calmed down, he shook his head at the pink haired boy. "So you're kinda lost, huh?" he chuckled. "How could you end up in this old, unused building when you need to pass all the actually used wings of the Uni to end up here? You must have walked quite a lot!"

Namjoon bent his head down. It was always like this. He was always bad at everything. He sighed, defeated. It made the other guy feel a bit bad and his voice softened when he spoke again: ''Don't worry, first classes are never important, you could just give up on it.'' You could hear him shuffle when he uncrossed his legs. ''Come here.'' Namjoon looked up to see him tapping the small place next to him, on the desk. ''I'm Seokjin, by the way. Kim Seokjin.''

The cute dork flashed him a cheeky smile, making two dimples appear. ''Kim Namjoon.'' He did as asked and sat next to Seokjin. He didn't expect the space to be so small, though and his heart was beating like crazy.

''What major are you taking?'' Namjoon couldn't look at him in the eyes and was fighting his blush, but it was a hard thing to do when Seokjin's face was this close.

''Music composing,'' he mumbled.

''Really? Cool! I'll show you around later, then.'' Jin wanted to attract Namjoon's attention and was starting to get pissed off by him avoiding his eyes.

Truth is, he couldn't help but stare at the younger man. When he smiled, earlier, he literally couldn't take his dimples. And his hair, though. That pink color was life. He knew he had some effect on him too, as the other was readable as an open book. How do you call that again, a match from heaven? Jin wasn't going to let go of the incredible chance he was having. Liking someone and them liking you back is extremely rare. Call it love at first sight, whatever, for he cared. All he knew was that he didn't need time and he wasn't going to go slow. Seeing him for a few seconds he felt like he already knew him since his birth. As if he was waiting for him, and only him. He felt an incredible attraction toward the other, and he wanted to confirm if it was as reciprocal as it seemed to be.

I believe in destiny.

No more losing time, Jin was convinced he had only one thing to do. So, extremely carefully, he moved his hand up and softly turned Namjoon's chin for he wanted him to face him. You could see the shock of this sudden contact all over the pink haired boy's face but there was no resistance. Jin took it as an encouragement and moved his hand up slowly, smoothly, to cup Namjoon burning cheek.

That's when it clicked in Namjoon's head, and Rap Monster appeared. Goodbye shy boy, hello sly boy.

They both looked at each other's eyes, each other's souls. The seriousness in their gazes was mixed with a strange, deeper and unnamable feeling.

Softly, whispering, Jin started humming the song he was singing earlier.

''I hope I can be with you just for one day.

If I can be with you,

If I can hold your hands,

Just one day.''

With Jin going silent afterward, Namjoon found it in himself, and maybe in the other's eyes too, to finish the lyrics. He followed his instinct and sang, barely audible.

''Then just give me one day,

Even if it's in my dream,

Just one day...

Can you please stay with me?''

Jin's slight smile attracted Namjoon's eyes to his highly kissable lips. He stared for a while but unable to resist anymore, he suddenly bent down and stopped just a few millimeters away from them. Namjoon could feel Jin's hot breath when the later talked. ''Such a tease.''

Namjoon then closed the distance between them and, yes, you could say time stopped. Like, for real.

I promise to try and make the next one better... x
