Wills POV
When I followed Freya out of the house, she ignored me.
Like always.
"Freya..." I began, "I really am sorry."
She glanced at me, but didn't say anything.
We were silent for a few minutes before she speaks.
"It's just... she's so horrible. And selfish. I mean, she turns up uninvited, and then thinks I'M rude when I don't offer her my bed."
"I know." I don't say anything else. I don't have to.
We reach school, and I silently follow her to homeroom. No, I mean Tutor. Stupid British words.
'The clones' as Freya called them, were sniggering when they saw that Freya and I weren't talking.
We both glared at them.
And that's how the day went.
At one point, in the cafeteria, Courtney approaches Freya, and sneers "Oh, so Will dumped you, has he?" Freya didn't say anything, just stared at the ground, but I could see the tension in her jaw.
I spoke up. "Actually Courtney, it was the other way round." Both of them stared at me in shock. "I made a mistake, a stupid mistake, and I'll do anything for her to forgive me."
The bell rang, so we went to our next lesson. She was shocked. Not because of what I said, because I've said it to her a lot recently, but because of who I admitted it to. We didn't talk for the rest of the day.
When we got home, Cassy was on the sofa, reading a beauty magazine.
I spoke first. "Cassy, you need to pack your bags."
She looked excited. "Why? Oh! I know! You're taking me to a hotel, aren't you?"
"No. You're leaving. You're going back to America. On your own."
