-Chapter 1-

Alister

I was speeding down the freeway in my squad car, on the way to a call- a missing person had been found and it was one of the guys we'd been searching for, for weeks. I picked up the radio and pressed the button, "Car 137 is going hot to location, no sign of any other cars. Send back up." I put down the radio as I heard, "Will do, Alister."

I pulled up to the house and it was your typical druggie/kidnapper looking deal, I smirked as I got out of my car, slamming the door and walking up to the house's door. I knocked on the door hard, "Open up, Police Department." I shouted as my back up pulled into the driveway. I heard someone yell, "Help me! Please!" I winced slightly as I heard the desperate cry for help. I placed my hand on my taser on my hip and stepped back slightly, kicking forward and the door went in. I saw the man sitting on the couch and he instantly jumped up, "Get on the ground, now!" I shouted at him, he didn't listen, "Down. On. The. Ground. NOW. I will taze you!" I shouted and the guy didn't listen again so I pulled my taser and aimed, tazing him as he fell to the ground. I quickly got on him and dug my knee into his back as I gripped his wrists and cuffed them behind his back. He struggled as I yanked him up off the ground and shoved him towards the back up that had come. They took him to a car and I turned to search the house, when I got to a back bedroom I heard a groan of pain. I eased open the door and saw a crumpled, trembling figure in the corner. I kneeled down and said softly, "Julian? Hi, I'm her to help.. I'm Alister.."

When the figure looked at me, I saw that if was a boy, dirty and bloody. His face obviously in pain. I slowly stood, walking over to him, he winced and slid closer to the wall, whimpering, "D-Don't hurt me..." I'm not going to lie, my heart broke when he said this. This was the boy who had screamed for help. I said quietly, "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." I smiled gently as Julian looked at me again. I held out my hand and he hesitantly took it, I helped him up and I froze slightly when Julian hugged me, "Th-Thank you.." His voice sounded shaky, like he was crying. I slowly hugged him back, blushing, "Hey, Hey, Julian.. It's alright.." He pulled away from me and nodded, using the sleeves of his dirty hoodie to wipe his eyes. I smiled a little at him and helped him outside to the ambulance.

While Julian was on the gurney he wouldn't say anything to anyone, just nodding and shaking his head when he was asked questions. I pursed my lips as my partner caught me staring at the beautiful boy. "Hey, Alister, we need to get back to work." I looked at Scott and nodded, stealing one last look at Julian before walking back to my car and getting in. I drove off and decided that I'd go see Julian later at the hospital and ask him some questions. Just then I got a text from my Sargent telling me that he wanted me to question the 'victim' anyways. I smirked as I remembered the way Julian looked at me and blushed lightly as I thought about it.
