Suna's P.O.V.

I feel heavy and cold. I don't know how long I've been out. The feel of something cold, damp, and soft...but crushing back and forth with blows of wind. Suddenly it becomes more forceful. What's going on? My heavy eyelids make an attempt to try to open. I feel something wet fall on my face. My eyes finally open to see...

Suna: "What...?"

Jeff: "...! Suna..."

His face is so CLOSE!!! He quickly backs away panting out of breath. He's still wet. I look up at the sky. We're still outside. I saw streaks of gold, bronze, yellow, orange, fading into a smooth shade of night blue. Slightly dotted with sparkling starts, the sun is just peaking out of the edge of the ocean and the moon is starting to make an appearance.

Suna: "What...happened?"

Jeff: "You nearly drowned."

Clock Work: "Suna!!! You're alive!!! Oh, I'm SO SORRY!!!"

Clocky runs up to me crying and showering me with non-stop apologizes.

Suna: "Well, I am alive. I'm not dead, it'll take a lot to kill me."

???: "Well, if you DID die, Clocky would be one his 'go to sleep' list. Then Toby would be after Jeff, then-"

Suna: "Who...are you?"

Some guy with pale gray skin in black and red swimming trunks, doesn't look like he's gotten into the water, with the proxy mark beneath his shoulder, comes up to me and Jeff chuckling.

Jeff: "Suna, that's Hoodie."

Suna: "THAT'S...*cough, cough*..."

Jeff: "Shh...Suna, don't talk so much, you might ACTUALLY die, so don't you dare..."

Suna: "How...how are you just fine?"

Jeff: "You're light. So bringing you up was easily. And I'm built stronger than you."

His cutout smile doesn't hide the kinder one he shows me...the more I look at him, the more...what is it? My gosh, Jeff. Just thinking about it, sorta makes me feel like those other confessions...just doesn't compare. Was it because of that proposal, or something? But because of those confessions...it just makes me feel...guilty. I can't smile back.

Jeff: "Uh, what's up? Usually, you'd laugh at something at that..."

Suna: "Sorry...just...wait...are you hurt?"

My eyes wander to a red spot on Jeff's white body. It's on his shoulder and right arm.

Jeff: "It's nothing."

Suna: "Don't give me that cliché, Jeff."

I sit up from the towel laid out on the beach.

Suna: "You're hurt. So much for 'built stronger than me'."

Jeff: "Hey, at least I didn't pass out and is laying down panting."

Suna: "Whatever. I'm fine now."

I look back at the setting sun. The stars and moon are starting to show up better. I stare up at the blue velvet-looking sky and sigh, finally cracking a smile. Jeff looks up too.

Jeff: "Nice sunset, right?"

Suna: "Yeah..."

Jeff: "Hey, where did everyone go...?"

Jeff's attention averts around us. Suddenly I feel him hug me from behind. He sets his chin on my shoulder. His long black hair blows onto my now-dry back. He's not as wet as he was. There's a gentle breeze, the sound of waves, the setting sun, us smiling and enjoying the moment.

Suna: "Jeff? I think everyone went to bed...we should probably go too..."

Jeff: "Look...the moon's up."

He doesn't want to leave.

Suna: "Yeah, but the TicciWorks wedding is tomorrow..."

Jeff: "Suna...forget about it...I want to stay with you longer..."

Suna: "Well, it isn't like I'm gonna disappear in the middle of the night."

Jeff: "But you do have a habit of doing that a lot..."

He's talking about Kirade...yeah, it is kind of scary that he and the others disappeared. He's something that me in the past created. So of course he'd be able to teleport. Or maybe they just got erased from the world.

Jeff: "Fine...but I'm coming with you."

Suna: "What...?"

Jeff gets up and pulls me by the hand.

Jeff: "Where's your tent?"

Suna: "Whoa, whoa, WHOA!!! What're you doing?!"

Jeff: "Well...I'm...gonna stay with you...tonight..."

He's not facing me but he stops pulling me and doesn't drop my hand. He wants to protect me...I don't think he's gonna DO anything to me...right? Because...I don't think I'm ready for anything like that...I'd have to be dead drunk or something, which F.Y.I that will never happen, 'cause I don't drink alcohol, to actually do something like that without...dying of embarrassment...

Suna: "Fine...just don't do anything...weird..."

This time I pull him by the hand and lead him to my tent. I go inside and started changing my clothes, half-expected that he'd stay outside. But! He came in while I'm wearing nothing but the bottom half of my swimsuit. Well, good thing that I wasn't facing the entryway. I quickly cover my chest and try hard not to yell at him. He looks like he's doing the same.

Suna: "Jeff...wait a bit..."

He cautiously walks out of the tent and I quickly finish changing into an arranged tang-top and shorts. Which is a good thing to wear, because it's slightly hot here...

Suna: "Uh, I'm done changing."

Jeff comes in back-first and closes the opening. I turn on a flashlight that was laying in the corner of the tent. He sits in front of me and stares.

Jeff: "You go to sleep."

Suna: "Go to sleep? That sounds scary coming from you."

We both laugh at my joke but Jeff still tells me to go to sleep. So I snug under the covers of the sleeping bag and shut the flashlight off. Suddenly, I start to hear JEFF humming. It was a BIT of a surprise to me, considering I haven't heard Jeff sing EVER. After listening to his humming, I fall asleep.
