Chapter 17: Precautions

Masky's P.O.V.

I am playing video games with Ben to get my mind off m y worries. Jeff and Suna are planning to have kids. Even though she said they haven't done it yet, they're still going to.

Ben: "Dude, this has to be the longest loosing streak you've ever had."

Masky: "Quiet."

Ben: "Look if you're worrying about Suna, then stop. Jeff's a good guy."

Masky: "I know that..."

Ben: "And if your jealous that's normal. We all slightly are...now that you think about it...but I heard you were a tsundere from Hoodie."

Masky: "What...?!"

Ben: "Okay, I shouldn't have done that...anyway, just get over it. Win a couple times, lose in the middle, that'll fuel up your competition spirit."

Masky: "Right."

I start to finally get the hang of getting back into the game. Until Suna and Jeff enter the living room. I start to fall back a bit. I half-listen to their conversation. Something about 'start a new branch'...and about Toby and Clock Work. Huh, if they DO have kids, they COULD start a new branch somewhere...

Jeff: "Suna...? Suna?! Why're you so COLD?!"

I heard THAT!!!

Masky: "What?!"

Everyone's sorta used to having something bad happen to her. So we act at first notice. We all rush toward where Jeff and Suna are and start taking her temp and stuff. I wonder why...

Ben: "For some reason I have the urge to slap her awake and tell her to stop doing that to us..."

Jack: "I agree with the telling her part, but the slapping, no..."

I look at Slendy...weird seeing him with a face now...his expression has me looking at him with a 'what the heck' face on. He looks like he's gonna CRY.

Masky: "Slendy! What's going on?!"

Slenderman: "Her pulse..."

My fingers latch onto her neck and I check her pulse...it's so faint...what happened?!?! She was like on top of the world earlier!!! How the heck did she go knock on death's DOOR without us SEEING it happen?!

Masky: "My gosh, Suna, how did you end up this way?! If you leave, Jeff's gonna murder everything alive...!!!"

Jeff: "Guys...her necklace, from her sister...it's pulsing...like her heartbeat..."

Hoodie: "Is that thing killing her?!"

Jeff: "No! I don't think that lady would do that...she said it was a Saronium force...or  something...and Suna said that it meant safety...but how do we...?"

Sally: "Is Suna gonna die?! Again?!"

Suna: "Jeff..."

(all): "...!!!"

Jeff: "Yes?! Suna...speak to me!!!"

Suna: "Sa...ro...nium...thirsty..."

Jeff: "She wants us to feed her Saronium."

Hoodie: "Well, that was the stuff that healed her last time..."

Sally: "But where are we gonna get it?! Souly isn't here!!!"

Souly? Wow...wait no time to think that!!! Saronium, Saronium, Saronium...uh, that necklace!!! Jeff said it was a Saronium force...I don't really know what that means, but...

Masky: "The gemstone on the necklace!!! Do something about it!!!"

Jeff grabs the gem and puts it in her mouth. I bet he's thinking 'I know this looks weird, but she said she's thirsty, so this thing better start pouring liquid or I'm gonna break it.' kind-of-thing. We all look at Suna. Her mouth wraps around the gem...she starts sucking on it. The middle of the gem pulses a light similar to the Saronium stuff. She finally opens her eyes and looks up at Jeff.

Suna: "Jeff?"

Heh, that's kind of cute. Saying Jeff's name with a gem in her mouth. But...I think it would be hard to handle if she said MY name instead...he started pushing her bangs out of her face and shushing her...nice scene to look at, I guess.

Jeff: "Suna, Suna, Suna...what happened to you?"

Suna: "I don't know...it just...I didn't even feel tired...I just knocked out...did I fall asleep on your shoulder...?"

Jeff: "Yeah. Then you started to turn into the North Pole."

Suna: "Coldness...fell asleep...and on the shoulder to top it off..."

Masky: "You know something about that?"

Suna: "Just a dream I had last night...I was at the Saronium River with Jeff, drank some Saronium, fell asleep on Jeff's shoulder, then woke up in my bedroom."

Suna sits up and clutches the gem that must've fell out of her mouth sometime. Her eyes droop and she nearly falls back to sleep. My gosh...I raise my hand out of control.

Masky: "Suna! Wake up!"

I slap her in the face. And just about the next second later Jeff slaps my mask off and I come face to face to a very confused Suna.

Suna: "Masky? How did you...? Why's everyone standing here? I thought you were playing with Ben..."

She looks at Jeff who looks back at her with a shocked and confused look on his face.

Slenderman: "You just were having a nightmare of the sort. If you wish, go back to sleep."

Suna: "Huh, I don't remember having any nightmares...must've forgot them...I do feel sort of sleepy..."

Masky: "Yeah...don't scare us like that..."

Now, half of that wasn't a lie. But I feel like she shouldn't know... Everyone is doing just that.

Suna: "Wow...I must've been hysterical."

We all laugh with her, surprisingly not faking it. I look at her, she looks at me, smiling. Though what was that? Suddenly going thirsty for Saronium, falling to sleep and feeling frozen...what was that all about?

Suna's P.O.V.

Wow, do I feel weak. I had the Saronium from the Department of Dreams. When I fell asleep I must've worn out the Saronium's effect, and I didn't remember drinking any Saronium in my dream. Now that I think about it, me having no dreams is so rare...

Suna: "Jeff, come out, it's time for supper, or something..."

Jeff: "Coming."

Jeff comes out of his room.

Jeff: "Hey, Suna? Do you know if you did something that made you act like that despite the fact you don't remember it? Because, yeah, you have a habit of remembering all of your dreams."

Suna: "Well, I have a theory that if I don't drink Saronium within my dreams, then the effects wear out too soon, and I become weak."

Maybe since I have the ability to burn things and fire up the temperature, becoming cold because of the lack of Saronium could be possible. Me and Jeff walk down to the kitchen. The atmosphere is a bit tense, but otherwise, it's just fine.

Suna: "So! What's up?"

Slenderman: "You are not going to like this conversation."

Masky: "Jeff, you too."

Suna/Jeff: "You...guys...please? For one day...?"
