Screaming on the inside

Ch. 1

Jordan's pov
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. So I rolled out of bed and looked through my closet trying to find my best outfit which I don't have many of. But I finally found something presentable (outfit above) then I brushed my teeth and put my hair into a messy bun. Then I put on some light makeup and pared my outfit with a pair of white converse. I went to Josh's room and saw he was done getting ready. We both gave each other a look saying we should go. And I knew Josh could tell I was scared. He then walked up to my and wrapped his arms around me and I dug my face into his shoulder as I started to cry.

Josh's pov
I could tell she was scared so I gave her a hug and she started to cry into my shoulder. It's been getting harder trying to stay on dads good side. Lately he's been coming home later, sleeping in more, and drinking more than usual so it hasn't been easy on Jordan. Finally she pulled away. I lightly wiped her tears away and we then tip toed down stairs and out the door trying not to wake dad. We got on the bus and made our way to school.

Jordan's pov
As we rode the bus to school I prayed I got a lot of classes with Josh, he was pretty much everything to me now that I never get to see Maddy anymore. When we finally got to school we stepped of the bus looked at the school then at each other. We could both se the worry in each others eyes. I then felt a hand grasp mine. We finally entered the school and got our schedules. Luckily I had homeroom with Josh but only had one other class with him and lunch.  We both looked at each other. "At least we have to classes together, that is better than none at least," Josh said with a slight smile. " True, and there's no point in moping so smile," I said happily. He let out a little chuckle and smiled. We held hands a walked to homeroom.
