Ect.You were roaming the dark and empty streets, the cracked sidewalk under your little feet.
Pitter-patter, with each step.
Hungry, so hungry.
You were the representation of (C/N).
You hadn't eaten in about two days and were looking for food. You scanned the passing houses, hoping that you could at least ask for a little bit of food, but nearly all the lights in each house were out. You managed a smile as you passed a particular house, the sidewalk in front of it being drawn on with chalk. It reminded you of a time when you were actually happy, when you could be free, silly, and not have to worry about where you were going to sleep the next night.
When you could be a kid.You continued walking until you came across a rather large house, the lights were on.
'Bingo!' you thought as you hurriedly waddled up to the door, as fast as your little legs would carry you.
You knock on the door desperately, but nobody answered, you groaned impatiently and tried again.Arthur Kirkland was sitting in his library, reading mystery books as he drank Earl Gray tea.
He stopped as he heard rapid knocking, he huffed, trying to ignore it because he figured it was Alfred. Every time Al came over, he'd nearly beat the door down when he knocked. As the knocking continued, he stood up with an annoyed growl. "Bloody hell.." he muttered as he opened the door, already scolding whoever was there.
"Do you have any idea what time it i-! ...?" He stopped as he looked around, seemingly nobody there, but he didn't bother looking down.He jumped as a little voice spoke.
"Mister? May I please have some food..? I-I'm really hungry."
You asked quietly, worried about being yelled at or chased off by the angry Brit. Arthur looked down at you, worry crossed his face. "Are you alright, Miss?"
He asked, trying to keep his image as a gentleman."I'm really hungry." You croaked, but Arthur stepped back and let you come inside.
"I can cook for you, if you'd like." England offered, to which you nodded, not knowing what you were in for.You sat on the couch nervously and watched futbol (Soccer) on TV. You jumped as you heard a crash, "It's the appetizer!" you heard the British man yell, you giggled as you remembered that particular episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. You walked into the kitchen and watched the man combat fire from the oven, after the fire was dealt with, England smiled sheepishly.
"I have a few TV. dinners in the freezer, how about we just make one of those?" he asked. After that, you and England sat on the couch together, England rambling about Doctor Who.
His rambling eventually stopped as he realized something.
"Oh dear, forgive me, but I don't recall asking your name."
"It's (Y/N)." you replied.
He rose one of his many eyebrows as he asked.
"What were you doing all by yourself at this time of night?
Where are your parents?"
You took a moment to gawk at his majestic eyebrows before answering.
"I don't have a mommy and daddy, I live by myself."England blinked.
"Yourself? Well, where do you live?" he asked with concern.
"I don't live anywhere.." you admitted sadly. England's heart sank. "Oh dear.." He went to pat your back, but felt a tingle in his fingertips, the feeling when a country comes in contact with another, he gasped.
"You're a country?" he asked as he looked you over."Oh.. yeah. I represent (C/N)." you explained, Arthur was having a lil bit of PTSD from back in The British Empire.
"Alright, well.. You've probably never been to a world meeting, I assume?" He asked, to which you shook your head."Ah." He replied simply.
He looked at you closely, he saw that you were in desperate need of a bath and clean clothes.
"Would you like me to run you a bath?" He asked politely, not trying to be wierd about it, but he wasn't sure if you knew how to wash your hair."Okay." You responded.
He picked you up and carried you to the bathroom, where he sat you down and ran your bath water. "Do you know how to wash your hair, Miss (Y/N)?"
You nodded. After your bath, Arthur fixed you a little bed on the couch.
That's where you slept for the night.
