Colours

As I walked down the street one day,
The little child in me
Felt the colours
in some different way.

Furious looked red, and the water's blue
A sweet, calm hue
Yellow made me please
White looked peace

Green made me smile
Grey was fragile
Cream is light
Black is my fright

Brown was the bark
Silver was the spark
I felt them around me

They embellished the gardens
And the sky up their
The beauty around me
Or that huge mango tree

The letter box out there
And the nature's care
I passed surrounded by colours
In the rainbow, or in flowers
