Author's POV

"The exam room is in room 3-B," a Chunin directed.

"Thank you." Akimi, Sora, and Shigekazu shuffled along, heading towards the stairs.

While Team Three is preoccupied, now is a good time to mention Team Three's members individually.

Sora Nao's strength lies in intelligence and physical strength. The Nao Clan is known for their sixth sense: accurate clairvoyance. Sora is no stranger to this sense and is well adapt to using it.

Shigekazu's strength is also intelligence and clairvoyance like his cousin. However, he also has the ability to sense other presences around him, making it nearly impossible to hide from him. He also understands the concept that by controlling Chakra in such a way can help delude the enemy.

Akimi's strength is physical combat. She is educationally smart, but when it comes to strategies, she relies solely on the cousins. It's no wonder she would be physically strong than the cousins since she has lived in the forest her entire life, compared to the boys who are in homes, consistently studying and learning strategies from board games.

Back with Team Three, apparently a group of Genin were gathered outside of a room. Two Genin were blocking anyone from passing through and even pushed a girl down when she tried.

"I wonder what's happening," Akimi whispered. Sora shook his head and drew her away from the scene.

"Let's just go on into the exam room first," he said, escorting her. His cousin followed, not looking back as the three made their way to the third floor. Some Genin teams were already there, waiting outside the locked test room. Not long afterwards, Akimi spotted her old classmate, Sakura along with Sasuke and Naruto. Seconds after Team Seven came, the rest of the Genin teams came as well. Team Eight, Nine, Ten. The Genin teams from neighboring villages had also arrived to take the same exam this year.

"We have a lot of competition," Shigekazu muttered, pushing his glasses up. "Stay on guard."

"Yeah."

"We know."

Team Three greeted old classmates and acquaintances, but did nothing to stand out. Like other Genin, they tried to observe others and keep their distance. Unfortunately, Naruto had other ideas and made himself and his team a target.

"The team from Suna seems very formidable, especially the one with a gourd," Shigekazu warned his team briefly. Akimi turned and looked into a pair of beautiful blue-green eyes. When the boy noticed her, he sent a withering glare towards her, but Akimi didn't mind. She smiled at him, making him narrow his eyes at her. She was so entranced, she almost didn't hear the slam of the door opening.

"I am Ibiki Morino, your proctor for the first round," a man with a bandana announced. "And first, you have a written exam." Murmurs ran around the Genin, but when Akimi turned to look at former classmates, she noticed Naruto looked pale.

"A written exam?" The boy whispered, looking sick every second. Ah, that's right. As the guy with the lowest score in class at any test, Naruto would obviously know this would be his biggest weakness.

"NOOOOOOO!"
