Scott and the pack have decided to have a Pokemon hunting trip today. Everyone in the pack were addicts to playing Pokemon Go and would try to see who has the most Pokemon.
Of course Scott would be the one with the most Pokemon. But sadly Malia had the least, which was only one. The one you automatically get when you start the game. She gave up on using the app because she stated that it was "dumb" but that was not the case, she just didn't know how to play it. Every time someone tried to teach her she just couldn't get it and gave up. But today Scott decided since he's such a pro he would be the perfect person to teach Malia on how to play.
He also thought it be perfect so he could spend more time with her.
While everyone was out trying to catch some Pokemons, Malia was trying her best to understand this so called dumb game. Scott stood behind Malia while she had her phone in her hands and Scott's hands were carefully laying on top of hers.
"Ok but how to you know where the Pokemons are?" she asked
"You don't, you see here." he said pointing to the little rectangle on the bottom right of the screen "tells you the footsteps of the distance of a Pokemon, three is the farthest then two not that much and first the closest." "Depending on the footsteps shown will tell you how much you have to walk to find it."
"Oh I see now!" she exclaimed all excited and bouncing a little knowing that soon she'll be able to join the pack and catch some Pokemons. After teaching her everything Scott knows about the app, Malia finally understood how to play. She was so excited to start her Pokemon adventures.
At that very moment Scott and Malia felt a vibration through their hands. They both looked down at the phone's screen and see there was a Pokemon next to Malia's character.
"There's a Pokemon right here Malia!" exclaimed Scott pointing at the screen.
Then Malia did what she just learned from Scott, she clicked on the Pokemon and boom it showed up. But before capturing it she obviously wanted to take a picture to later show it off. So she asked Scott to take a picture of her while she tried to make it seem like she was holding it. Scott couldn't help but smile at her while he took the picture.
Then after the picture she was ready to capture it.
"One last thing, try kind of spinning the poke ball first before throwing it, ok?" Scott said before Malia started throwing her poke ball.
"How?" she asked confused.Scott then proceeded with his hands still on top of hers started spinning both of their thumbs so the ball would start spinning then they both threw it and caught it. Then the ball proceed to blink a few until the screen said Gotcha.
"Oh my god, I caught a Pokemon! I mean we caught a Pokemon!" exclaimed a now jumping Malia "Guys I caught a Pokemon!" she yelled at the pack who were in different locations in the park looking for Pokemons. They all came over to where Scott and Malia were.
"What Pokemon did you get?" asks a curious Isaac.
"A rattata" she says
"Lame" says Isaac while rolling his eyes.
"It's her first one okay." Scott says defending Malia
"Ok let's continue with the hunt because I'm trying to level up here." says an Isaac already backing away from the group
"Wait. Let's make this interesting" smirks Aiden "How about we see who can catch the most Pokemons tonight?"
"Nice. I like it" says a smirking Derek "What will the winner get?"
"Mmmmh how about the rest has to carry the winner back home?" Aiden says with a smirk.
"Excellent, my legs are gonna get tired by the end of this so you losers can carry me then." says a smiling Isaac walking his way back to the group huddle.
"Ah, we'll see about that Lahey!" says StilesThen they were off, everyone ran off to different directions and some formed alliances and others were by themselves. Scott was obviously teamed with Malia since she was kind of new and he didn't want to have her running off to who knows where all alone. He wanted to keep an eye on her and make sure she was safe.
Scott was so fascinated seeing Malia be so happy and excited getting some Pokemon he totally forgot to catch some on his own. But he didn't care because seeing her all happy was enough of a reward for him.
After the time has been called for the hunt to be over everyone counted the ones they catched that night. Scott was of course last which was a surprise on everyone but as well a complete happiness that the rest can have a chance of winning. Kira came in second and the one that won was by everyone's surprise Malia!
"I won?" a smiled Malia asked
"Congrats Malia, you won. I guess this game isn't as dumb as you thought it was." said a smiling Scott
"Nope it isn't." she said while proceeding to kiss her phone screen and lifting it up in the air like it was Simba from Lion King. "I wouldn't of been able to do it without your help Scottie. Thanks." she then kissed Scott's cheek. He had a smile on his face and then started to blush a bit.At the end of it all it was only Scott who was carrying Malia back home, piggy back style. He didn't trusted the others of being able to carry her without dropping her, but that's what he told them. But he knew he wanted to be the only one to be carrying her. And Malia didn't mind at all she was just on his back while her arms were around his neck and her phone in her hands still continuing playing Pokemon on their way back home.
