New Year's [contd]

"Let me see your hands up in the air!" The DJ screamed through the microphone while everyone put their hands up in the air while jumping up and down.

Scott made his way through the jumping crowd to get to the bar.

He was squeezing his way when someone grabbed his arm which made him turn his head around to see who it was.

"Where are you going?" Stiles asked his best friend.

"Uh just getting a drink. I'll be back."

With that Scott continued to make his way to the bar on a mission.

Stiles kept his eyes on Scott until he got to his destination. When Scott did, Stiles noticed who Scott approached at the bar.

Theo.

Stiles decided to go near the bar to eavesdrop their conversation and to find out why Theo was doing here.

"Scott McCall, strange running into you here." Theo smirked.

"What are you doing here Theo?" Scott said facing his back towards the dance floor.

"Can't I just enjoy the music and a drink? I'm here for the same reason you're, celebrating the new year." He said while taking another sip of his drink. "Care to join me?"

"No, I'm here with my friends and I don't want any trouble."

"I want the same thing." Theo said putting his hand over his heart to seem meaningful. "We're all here to celebrate not to start a fight."

"Exactly."

"I'm just here enjoying my drink and hoping I'll find a girl I can dance the night away and maybe bring her into the new year with me." Theo said while looking at someone on the dance floor.

Scott turned around to see who Theo was looking at and he already knew who it was before seeing her, Malia.

Scott turned around seeing a smirking Theo.

"I heard Malia's single, since you know Stiles broke up with her. What a shame." Theo chuckled. "Think she'll kiss me at midnight?"

"Don't you dare touch her." Scott said

"Why not? She's single. She's not dating Stilinski. She can kiss whoever she wants or date whoever she wants."

Scott flinched at the word date.

He knew at any moment she can kiss whoever she wants. One day she can show up to a pack meeting with a boyfriend.

He knew Malia can do all of those but he's hoping she wouldn't dare to that with Theo.

Scott's pocket then started vibrating. He put his hand through it and took out his phone.

It was a text from Isaac, "we need to talk"

Scott looked up from his phone and told Theo one last time to leave Malia and his pack alone before turning around and making his way back through the crowd.

He reached to where Lydia and Aiden were but now they were dancing on the dance floor.

He sat down and started to search through the club to see where Isaac was. He was about to text him when he saw the curly haired boy come towards him.

"I saw you talking to Theo. What is he doing here?" Isaac said while sitting down next to Scott.

"Apparently to enjoy the music and a drink." Scott said while scratching his neck.

Isaac let out a pffft sound while rolling his eyes.

"And he wants to make a move on Malia now that's she's single...." Scott finished and looked at a shocked Isaac.
