I wake with a start, the sun shining into my ice blue eyes. I growl, annoyed that the sun woke me, but then I remembered about school. I don't bother going out to bath as I had done that the night before, so all I had to do was get ready. I ended up wearing a dark grey t-shirt, black jeans and black combat boots.
I grab my bag and begin the trek to school, dreading the glares and fearful faces of the idiots I pass. The leaves crunch under my heavy foot falls, bringing the silent forest some sound. I let Lyall change my eyes to red. So no one would know who I am. I also choose to wear a mask today. One that covers the bottom half of my face easily, leaving my glowing red eyes and dyed black hair for all to see.
I knew the teachers wouldn't dare tell me to take it off, one glare from me had them wetting themselves and running. The weaker pack members and humans kept their distance, while the stronger pack members glared. A few humans were glaring too, all though they were just following their friends examples.I hoist my bag higher onto my shoulder, my tall and slim body standing out in the hall. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I feel more agitated today. I choose to ignore the feeling with a deep throated growl, scaring a few humans out of the way.
I walk into the classroom, instantly finding my way to the back of the room. Only a few people are in here, as I had got here earlier then I should. The class soon fills up, and the bell rings, making me wince. I didn't get why they made them so loud, but then again, I'm going back to school as a very well known rogue.
Well, pretty well known in the area. I chuckle to myself quietly so I don't creep anyone out. Not that I'm not doing that with half a skull mask attached to my face. When some of the pack walks in, I growl and glare, and they do the same.
The class goes by quickly, without incident surprisingly. It was easy to escape the crowded classroom, granted my thin frame. I walk down the halls, smelling Kayla's faint scent. I silently curse as I realize I have this class with her, and that she was already there.
I suck it up and barge into the classroom, not giving Kayla a second glance. I could feel her glare settled on me, but I just sit at the back of the room. The pack members glare at me, their wolves showing in their eyes.
There weren't any humans in the room yet, so I decided to help them a little.
"Control yourselves pups. Any humans see the wolf in your eyes, they'll get suspicious."
It makes me wonder how many times they had shown their wolf to the humans without knowing it. The humans acted indifferent, but who knew what they were thinking. Almost instantly, the wolf in their eyes goes away, but they keep glaring.
I huff in annoyance and glare back, some of the wolves shrinking under my ice cold stare. They all turn around when the teacher walks in and gives me a quick low growl before he begins to teach.

The end of the day finally comes, and I almost let out a howl of happiness. I forget the reason why I wanted to come back to school, but I guess it was because I was getting bored in the woods.I gather my stuff quickly and begin to leave, when Kayla steps in my path. A deep growl rumbles in my chest, my eyes glowing red. She doesn't even look affected by my growl, and takes a step closer.
I can feel her eyes searching my face, trying to piece together who I am. I let out a sharp bark when she gets closer, causing her to cover her ears. I walk away while she's busy with her ringing ears, hoping to get away before she recovers.
Luck wasn't on my side, and in a few seconds, her hand is on my shoulder. She turns me around, a glare in her eyes. Her eyes begin to switch between brown and a light green. Her wolf was wanting out to show who's boss, just like most alpha wolves.
My wolf's eye color was already showing, so he couldn't do much more then that. He knew he had more power, but he chose to hide it, even though he wanted to make her bow to our will. I pushed past her, not wanting to bother with an angered alpha who would most likely shift and want me to fight.
I walk away, my face blank. I could feel her following me, so I go a different route from the way I usually go home. I end up at a lake, so I sit on a nearby rock.
"You don't need to follow me."
My voice echoes through the emptiness, and I could sense her surprise. She doesn't move, probably thinking that I don't know she's there. I can feel her internal conflict, battling herself and her wolf as she tries to make a decision.
After 5 minutes, I let out a very low growl. I shift, my clothes ripping. I huff in annoyance at the thought of having to go buy more stuff, but I wanted her away from me. Kayla finally walked out of the tree line, her eyes showing her wolf. The light green was invigorating, but the reminder of her rejection was still in my mind.
A loud roar comes out of my throat as she walks closer, her teeth bared. I was tempted to laugh, as baring teeth in human form was pointless. I must have let out a snort or something, because in an instant she's in front of me in wolf form. I roll my eyes, before snarling.
Our clothes were in tatters, hanging off our bodies as we snarled at each other. The only things that survived were the shoes, so at least I could wear those again.
The stand off didn't last long, as a howl from her beta stopped her in her tracks. Kayla huffed, before turning and running away, towards the sounds of sirens.
Rogues.
