Chapter Three

"Explain." Claire snapped.
"Well can I sit down first?" I questioned. Annoyed, she nodded. I sat down on the soft couch and Claire plopped down right next to me. "Ok, as I was saying, I'm here for more than a few reasons. First off, you have a twin sister." I kept it at that to let it sink in for a second. Claire blinked a couple times trying to get ahold of what I had said.
"I have a twin sister as in a living and breathing twin sister?" I nodded in confirmation. She shook her head in disbelief.
"When SHIELD took you guys they kept you and sent her somewhere else. I've narrowed the list down to Michigan and Idaho." I explained.
"What? Why? Why did they only keep me?" She questioned.
"Well she had a lot of health problems. One of them being asthma. I read that it was so bad that they didn't want to risk having her the field, and god forbid you corrupt her with your bad attitude." I joked. Apparently she completely ignored it because she hasn't sent me one of her death glares. She stared at the picture on my phone a moment longer.
"I had two death certificates...does that mean." I sighed.
"They are both real. One for you and one for her. It's literally the only trace of her existence. Ever. That's why it's been such a hassle trying to find her." I explained. I held my hand out for my phone and she reluctantly have it back.
"Why did you try to find her? Why did you want to find me? What is all of this?!" She shouted. I could see tears brim her eyes. For a moment I felt bad. I've pretty much uprooted her new life with all this new information.
"Let's just call it a family reunion."
"So, what you're just going to pick the both of us up and have a cook out in their back yard waiting for them to get home after some mission?" My eyebrows furrowed.
"Do you even know where they are right now?" I questioned. She shook her wiping the tears in her eyes before they fell.
"I don't follow the news at all and I only use call and text on my phone. I can't afford to do anything else." She explained, I sighed.
"Well right now mom is at a funeral. One of the most badass women ever, Peggy Carter, died so she's in London. But about 10 hours ago, Mom had made up her mind about signing the Sokovia Accords and Dad is going against them. What made matters worse is that most of all of the Avengers are involved. About half the team signed it half the team is against it." Claire rolled her eyes.
"What is it even about? The Sokovia Accords, what are they for?" She questioned.
"The UN decided that the Avengers need to be put on a leash as well as every other person with abilities in the world. The UN would decide when and where the Avengers would go and help out."
"Wow, I can't wait to see how fast that turns upside down." She retorted.
"Yeah well since you want to do this mission so badly we have to stop it before that happens. Sure the accords have already been approved but there has to be a way to stop the war that is following it." I stated. "I heard talk of a battle that may happen between the two sides. If we get everyone together before then maybe we might just be able to get them to talk."
"What makes you so sure?" She questioned.
"Have you seen us? We're adorable. They'd have to stop then." I replied.
"I don't think the three of us would have that kind of appeal." She reported.
"I never said there were only three of us." Her eyes widened and she looked at me in disbelief.
"You're kidding." She accused.
"They're like rabbits." I whispered. I checked the time on my phone. "It's time for me to head out, but have a bag packed. Tomorrow we're going to find the rest of the Barton siblings and then we're headed to Germany."
"Ok first of all, you aren't leaving. You're sitting right there until I get more answers. Second, how the hell do you expect to get us all to Germany. And Third what makes you think all of us will want to go with you?"
"First off, I am leaving. It's been a very long day. Second, I've got the transportation covered. And third...I've got a hunch.
