" Psychology. One word, used for so many different topics. Relationship. Heath. Trauma. Manipulation. Fear.

Take manipulation. Not everyone would purposely use this tactic...right?

Well, add love to that equation and you're outlook changes drastically.

Manipulation and love go hand in hand, regardless of how wrong it could be. It's a con hidden in love.

Love.

A gamblers game. Do I find the one and live my happily ever after, raise a family? Or do I end up with my heart broken and face a sadness that I had never felt before? Do I give my heart to another equally as guilty and broken soul as me and hope that they treat me right and that they keep me safe. That if I gave my heart to them they wouldn't put it in a old rusty box of hate and darkness, so unloved, uncared for and abandon it out in a metaphorical sea, only for me to wither in pain and try to recover.

It's normal being afraid of seeing the pain that could be headed your way. It's like an atomic bomb without warning ready to destroy the hope you had left. A area in which many find themselves at different times in their life. Much easier to accept when you don't even know what's happening. Young and old, they find themselves loved and loving another. They had been blessed with their girlfriend, wife, boyfriend or husband.

They took the chance, and many fell before reaching that serene place. That rose tinted meadow, which lies in a uncommon place that takes the same amount of heartbreak and love to reach.

So as a final message to those in doubt, yes allowing the chance for rejection and pain is something we fear but being alone is something most fear more, and we can't get to that happy place until we experience these things, so don't give up."

After rereading the paragraph I hit enter officially posting it to the top of the website. 'Cupid's Bow'. When I first started this website it had been at the persuasion of my classmates at school. Despite for me to make a 911 call service and chat room for them to anonymously talk to each other and email me questions. To me at the time it was a joke. Until I found myself with emails coming from other states, other countries. My first thought was " Alright Ashton Kutcher you can come out now" but it's only grown from there.

Just as I begin to think of where to start the task of tackling the mountain of emails I've received over summer break. A new one arrives. I click on the email, giggling at the name "PoptartHoe" me too, me too.

Dear, Cupid

I've got the biggest issue. See I've got mad feelings for this girl and I can't help but tumble over myself when I think about her gorgeous green eyes that hold the slightest brown flakes, she looks at you like she knows everything you could possibly be thinking. I'm a hopeless romantic but I'm having a bit of trouble trying to decipher the perfect way to ask her out. I want the whole over dramatic Romeo and Juliet attitude. It's something a theater major like myself is not afraid of doing, I just need a bit of inspiration and help so, help?

I reread the email, then shot a lengthy message back from explaining some cute and simple ideas he could utilize.

I spent the next hour replying to some of the easier messages, before flopping down on my bed.

"Maybe I should hire some people to help me manage all of these" I sighed. "I'm far to lazy" I mumbled while yawning.

Just as I was about to doze off my phone went off.

Peeking at my phone I saw something that always keeps my life a bit more interesting.

*one new event request*

"Ooooo an event!" I said with childish glee. Before I could open the request a knock sounded at my door.

"Door's open."

The words were barely out of my mouth before my best friend Adrian came bounding into the room.

"Hey what's up?" I asked.
But he paid me no mind, as he walked over to my window , crouched down and pulled out a pair of binoculars.

... what on earth is...?

"Uh.... Adrian... what are yo-"

"Shhhhhh, I'm concentrating."

"On what exactly?" I questioned raising an eyebrow.

"That fine piece of ass living across from you. Mm mm mm, I volunteer as tribute..." he finally turned to face me.

"Why is it you give relationship advice to everyone and their momma , but you can't hook me up with Zac Efron look alike over here?"

"Maybe because he knows you stalk him and refuses to go within a 10 foot standing of you."

Walking over to my computer chair he rolled his eyes before plopping down dramatically. " I do not stalk him... it's just investigative research"

"Ahhhh so that's why you have pictures of him in the boys locker room sh-"

He glared at me, making me pause in my sentence.
"Okay okay 'investigative research', now before you so rudely interrupted I have just gotten a new project to work on."

"Another request? Damn that's like the sixth one this month."

"I know but, it's what I do ya know?"
I pulled out my phone and tapped on the message.
As I read over the details of the request my heart skyrocketed and I practically squealed from delight!

"Woah" Adrian who was now peeking over my shoulder said as he to took in the full extent of the message.

"Oh man, this is gonna be fun."
