I need to do something. Kahit sa huling pagkakataon kailangan kong gumawa ng paraan para maging Masaya siya. but before that I need to make myself happy first before I can make him happy. I’m in my office now. Kagabi ng mabasa ko ang text message ni Alex hindi na ako mapakali. I don’t know what I will do, how would I react after she left me hanging. Babalik na siya. babalik na ang babaeng mahal ko. Ang baabeng nang-iwan sakin, nanakit at nagpaasa. I’m thinking now that she’s coming back pano na kami. I mean, i’m married ti her sister but I know in myself that I still love her. I always love her.

Stop thinking when my phone vibrates. I checked who sent me a message. Oh it’s from Ashley. What the hell she wants now? I’m about to open her message when my Drey harshly open the door of my office.

“What the hell Drey. You should knock you know.” I said with sarcasm.

“Why did you punch Blaise? For pete’s sake Xander he’s our cousin!”

“Alam ko.” Walang gana kong sagot.

“Yun naman pala eh. Why did you have to punch him. Nagmamagandang loob-“

I cut him off. “I guess hindi niya sinabing hinalikan niya ang asawa ko.” I stared at him blankly.

“He does.” Naningkit ang mga mata niyang tumitig sakin. “Wait, tama ba ko ng narinig, you said ‘asawa ko’?” he laughed. “Now you’re claiming that she’s your wife huh? Iba nay an Xander.” Pang-aasar nito sakin.

“Anong iba ang pinagsasasabi mo?” Sagot ko. “Asawa ko pa din siya kaya dapat hindi nila ginagawa ang bagay nay un sa harap ko at sa public place na pedeng maraming makakita sa kanila. Pano na lang ang pride ko bilang isang lalaki.” Katwiran ko.

“Oh, you’re being defensive.”

“I am not.”

“You are. You’re being too defensive. Alam naman natin na malaki ang pagkakagusto ni Blaise sa asawa mo, but of course di mo naman kailangang suntukin agad si Blaise.”

“She kissed her!” ginagalit ata talaga ako nitong si Blaise.

“Yeah he kissed her. Oo asawa mo siya. pero sabi mo nga noon diba, mag-asawa lang kayo sa papel hindi sa totoong ibig sabihin nito. You let her be with Blaise all the time, buti nga hindi yun nai-inlove kay Blaise eh. And one more thing you’re pushing her away. Si Blaise ang sumasalo sa kanya. Nag-vibrate ulit ang phone ko. Drey is calling.

“What now Drey?” naiinis kong tanong

“Think straight Xander.” Yun lang and he ended the call.

Ibaba ko n asana ang phone ko nang maalala ko na may text nga pala sakin si Ashley. Binuksan ko ang message niya.

I know I may sound desperate but can you please treat me nice? Can you act as my husband, as if you love me. That you married me because you wanted to do so not because you don’t have a choice. It will not take too long. It will last until my sister Alex comes back home and that is two weeks from now. Can you? I hope you will.

I was astounded on what I read. She wants me to what?? Act as if I’m in love with him? The hell with her! Bakit ko gagawin yun? It will not take too long daw. Pwe! Sige pagbibigyan ko siya total naman imposible naming magkagusto ako sa kanya sa loob ng two weeks lang.
