"Where are we?" I asked as I shake my head off of dizziness.

"I think we're already in New York City. Are you okay?" My sister replied

"Yeah, I'll live. So where are we going now?" I said as I tried to stand up

"Mom said that we have to go this woman. Her name's Joanna Fullmer, her friend. Maybe she could help us." She picked up our bags and took my hand

"Her house is not far away from here. Maybe a few blocks away from this alley." She looked around.

"How did you know that smarty pants?" I asked

"I read the signs lame brain." I rolled my eyes at her and just scoffed.

I started walking to the address our mom gave to us. I know you're quite wondering what are two teenagers doing in the streets of New York City alone? Well we don't know either. All we know is that we just woke up and our mother is missing. All we found was a photo of a woman (which was the Joanna Fullmer we were talking about a while ago) and a note with her address behind it and she wrote "Go to her" Why her? Don't know because mom can get pretty vague most of the time. But we know that we can trust this girl whoever-she-is. Why? Because Mom kind of said so.

Well to start off, my name is Evander Allens, but you could call me Evan. And that serious girl whose looks could kill you within a split second is my twin (yes, in life you could get pretty unfortunate at times) her name is Thessalia but you could call her Thessalia, because she hates it when others call her Thessy or Thess. Only I could call her that. Because I can handle all her glares that could send you off to the depths of Underworld and never come back.

"Thessalia... Come on, let's take a break please? I'm tired, my feet hurt plus we need to change our clothes. Come on Thess... Please?" I whined at her. I mean we really need to change our clothes. Mine and her clothes are ripped and they're covered in soot. We were traveling here from Alaska in a car when we got on an accident, so now we look like we just went with Santa through chimneys except that we don't have his magical powers that keeps his coat from looking like despair and agony.

"Ugh, For crying out loud! Okay fine. We'll change our clothes in that diner. But we have to be there before sunset. So we're not going to eat. We're just going to change." She said sternly.

"But--" I tried to protest but she just gave me a murderous glare. O-kay. So much for suggestions, Evander. Even if your stomach gives off a sound of a dying whale. Let all the suggestions go.

So like what she said (because she's the boss), we went to the diner's rest room and changed clothes. But something must've hit Thessalia in the head and she ordered a tomato soup and two egg sandwiches for us

"I thought you said we're not going to eat?" I asked at her as we sat on the chair at the counter.

"Your stomach was like the sound of death and destruction. And I have to take care of you." Scratch all the scary and mean things I said about Thessalia awhile ago. She's also caring. Though her scariness sometimes overpowers her kindness but this time, one point for sweet sister Thessalia.

After we finished and paid off our food, we went on our way to that Joanna Fullmer's house (geez, that woman's house is so hard to find). And after hours of walking, searching and asking for her house, Huzzah! We already found it. Her house is nice. A two storey house with dark blue paint and I have to say it's quite small compared to other houses in this neighborhood.
