I had been out of bed for nearly 3 hours by the time Ellie came to knock for me. Ellie's mum had agreed to pick us up early to take us to the festival, seeing as we are only 16 and as of yet do not own our own cars. we wanted to leave early so we could get a good camping spot and get settled before the first acts began. I was sat at the window waiting for her to arrive and watching the minutes tick by, it was 10: 33 before they arrived. She didn't even make it to the door before I swung it open and through a hug at her.
"Excited?" She questioned
I gave out a little laugh before responding
"Very, you?"
"Music, sun and boys... what more could you ask for?" We both began giggiling
"Girls if you want to get a good spot you better hurry up and pack Rileys stuff into the boot. CHOP CHOP!"
"Ok now coming mum" Ellie shouted.
We rushed inside the house and grabbed my luggage, i only had 2 suitcases and my 6 man tent, there was only 2 of us but we figured the bigger the better. We heaved a suitcase each outside and dumped them into the back of the car and the went back to retrieve the tent. Once everything was loaded we scampered into the back and went on our way.

The main entrance of the festival wan't hard to miss, hundreds of teens queueing to enter. Luckily we got V.I.P tickets and went straight to the front.
"Hey what do you think your doing?"
I turned around to come face to face with a boy about my age with dishevelled hair and suitcases at hand.
"There's a line!!"
"I can see that" i replied a little caught of gaurd.
"So why don't yo go wait in it?" He asked with a cocky grin and all his friends started laughing.
I took a few steps towards him and took a deep breath. I wasn't about to let the babboon ruin my day.
"Why don't you go get your eyes checked so you can see we have V.I.P tickets?" I pull slighlty on the V.I.P tag hanging from my neck.
I turn on my heel and walk towards my best friend. Not even giving a glance back to see his reaction.
"Ohhhhh SAVAGE" someone shouts from the queue
I smirk slightly enter through the main entrance. I'm very pleased with myself.
Once we are through the main gates i soon forget about the cocky guy from the line, as we are plunged into a, what feels like, a comletely different world. I'm so glad i chose to wear my wellies the amount of mud here is enough to satisfy the needs of entire worlds population of pigs!
The smell of the food trucks is amazing, as i look around i make a mental note of the places i definaley wanna check out.
I look back towards the line and make awkward eye contact with the cocky guy from the line, but i was determined not to look away first, no matter how uncomfortable his stare made me feel, in the end i am pulled back into reality when Ellie begins to talk about pitching the tent. I come in mid senetence.
