Moorim School: A Different Perspective

Episode 10 cont. (The one with the announcement)

That night, Min Ah and Shi Woo met up in the Bell Tower. It was silent as they were both thinking heavy thoughts when Shi Woo said, "This place is really strange. I'm clearly going down an unfamiliar path... but somehow it feels familiar."

"I feel the same way too. I got my father's pictures that day. A friend had sent it. Seeing those pictures released all my emotions which I had blocked after my father's funereal. I remember crying for hours before Seon Ah found me. She suggested that we wander around for a bit. Unfortunately we got lost."

Shi Woo chuckled. 

"We were wondering around aimlessly and that's when we met Seon Deok. She had been crying because she had gotten her acceptance letter to a college."

"She was crying because she got an acceptance letter?" Shi Woo asked in disbelief.

"She couldn't tell her father and because they were poor there was no way that she could attend that college."

Min Ah looked at Shi Woo and said. "That day, I really thought that fate existed."

"Fate?" Shi Woo said testing it out. "Yeah. I'm sure it was fate." he said. "It was also fate that I met you on the mountain." he said gazing in to her eyes.  Min Ah looked at him curiously, with a hint of nervousness. 

"But I keep getting scared. I wonder if I'm going to get swept away to somewhere dark and cold. I can't remember my past." There was a pause before he continued. "I wonder if there's something in my past that I can't handle. "  

"Yoon Shi Woo." MIn Ah said softly but he cut her off. "Honestly, the Chintamani doesn't feel strange to me. If I try not to think about it, my head hurts like crazy."

"It doesn't matter what's in your past. The past is the past. It's called past for a reason. To me, you're not an idol or a celebrity or the kid with no parents,. You're just Yoon Shi Woo. Don't worry." She smiled gently at him.

"No matter what's at the end.." he said looking at her, "Promise that you'll be with me till it's all over."  "I promise, I will" she said understanding that it was his indirect way of asking her if she would be his till the end. If she would stand by him through it all. And she would do so in a heartbeat.

He slowly pulled her closer towards him and as she wrapped her arm around him, listening to his heartbeat she felt more safe and secure than she had ever felt after her father's death.

Shi Woo and Seon Ah both looked at each other in disbelief at what the notice said.  Shi Woo rushed up to where Min Ah was on the stairs trying to call Seon Deok with Shi Woo behind her.
