Aiden [ON HOLD]

Chapter 3

This chapter isn't so great, I'm having a hard time of how to write the book but I will go back and edit it. Thank you and enjoy.

Men. Men everywhere. Some are good looking, some not so much. I look around the room to see everyone looking at me. The men giving me lustful looks, the women giving me glares. There are 5 couches surrounding the stage and booths in the back. All filled with men looking at me. Some even have girls from the back by their side.

"One hundred thousand!" I turn my left to see a man who could probably be my grandfather giving me a lustful look. Did he just say one hundred thousand?!

"Two hundred thousand!" Someone yells from my right. Two hundred thousand?! That's insane, I could never make that money in my life and this guy is just tossing it around.

More and more guys scream the amount they are willing to pay for me. I can't believe this is happening to me. How did I even get into this? I was a girl working at a burger place trying to make it in life and next I know I'm being sold.

"10 million dollars" someone yells from the back. TEN MILLION DOLLARS?! Who would spend that money on a human being?! I look up to see who would spend the ridiculous amount of money on me, but I can find him. The whole room is dead silent. The men's face who were betting are pale. The women look like they are ready to kill me.

"Ten million going once, going twice, SOLD!" The gut behind me says with a microphone in his hand. A guy comes out of the shadows, and he has my heart pounding. So he's attractive would be the least. He had tattoos everywhere, normally I'm not a fan of them but on him, I absolutely love them. He has his hair slicked back and shaved on the sides. I don't get to see his eyes because it's too dark.

A hand behind me drags me off the stage and I turn to see Holland looking ahead with no expression on her face. I turn to back to see that were in the dressing room from before.

"Holland, who was that man?" I ask. I think I should know what I'm being sold to, only seems fair.

"No one knows his first name, they only call him by his last name, potente. He's the most dangerous man in that room. I don't know much about him but I do know you need to be careful. Do you understand Josephina? Please, stay safe. Maybe I'll see you again." Holland says as she kisses both of my cheeks and takes me to another room.

In the center of the room is the man, the man that owns me. The man I don't even know the name of. The man scares me.  The man that who devilishly handsome.

The man doesn't say anything and neither do I. What do I say to the man that just bought me? How do you start a conversation with that?

We just stare at each other till he starts to move towards me. With every step he takes, I take one back. That happens till I hit a wall. Great.

The man is in front my face in seconds. "Bellissimo" he says in an accent I can't recognize. What does that even mean?

"W-w-what does that mean?" I ask shyly. I curse myself for stuttering. The man just chuckles and takes my hand a kisses the back of it.

He walks out of the room, my hand still in his. We walk down a hallway that looks too familiar for my liking. He walks past the room where I was locked up in and takes a right. He pushes the door open that takes us outside. I look around to see if I know where I am and try to make run for it. But the man seems to know what I'm thinking because he tightens his hand.

He walks and expensive looking car. He opens the passenger door then forces me to get it. Rude much? He shuts the door then jogs to his side. Once he's inside he starts the car and races his way out of the place.

"Where are we going? Can you slow down? Who are you?" I say to the man.

He just glances my way then speeds the car more, but he doesn't say anything.

"di droga la sua" the man says. There's movement in the back and next thing I know, there's a cloth over my mouth. I try to pry the hand off me but it's no use.

My eyes start to drop and everything turns black.
