Chapter-13

Liam's POV: The ambulance arrived within a few minutes but Jenny was bleeding heavily till then. Her hands were clutched with my shirt and she moaned out some painful words. We rushed to the nearby hospital. Louis and Harry followed us in a cab. Fortunately, one seat in the emergency department was vacant and we admitted Jenny there.
Hours passed by when she was shifted from general bed to OT. I did not have the strength to look up at Louis who was equally anxious.
As soon as I heard the footsteps of the doctor I made my way towards him and so did Louis.
"Uh...Please don't worry Mr Payne but you are not allowed to enter into the ICU right now. The patient's condition is not too good." These words made me rush towards the door of the ICU and I looked at her through the circular opening.
"It's all because of me. " I mumbled to myself, unable to bear the pain anymore and collapsed on the ground bursting into tears.
Just then her mum and dad arrived who desperately seeked permission to enter the ICU. But obviously they too were not allowed.
All were quiet until the doctor came to break the silence declaring about Jenny's health.

He cleared his throat before speaking.
"May I please have your attention."
We all looked up to him rather worried.
"Jennifer Lawrence has been diagonised with DEMENTIA. It's an illness which causes memory loss, instability and chronic forgetfulness. It has no medicine but treatment needs to be continued. Please cooperate with the patient for her speedy recovery. "
The moment he ended Jenny's mum yelled,"Won't my daughter be able to remember me?"
The doctor looked thoughtful for a while and then he spoke,"That's too doubtful."
The family was in the worst condition.

I went inside the ICU to check whether everything was fine. It seemed that Jenny remembered Louis very well.
I took a seat near her and held her hand into mine.

Her exhausted face was still so adorable with her eyes closed. But she felt a bit uncomfortable and loosened my grip.
"Who are you young man?" She asked being astonished.
I seriously did not have anything to reply and just gazed at her.
"You'll come to know." I passed her a fake smile.
"But what if I don't?"
The door suddenly banged open with all other family members of Jenny and I thought it would be descent if I leave the room right at that moment.

Louis was waiting all hopeless outside the ICU.
"How is she?" It's the first question he asked.
"All your care paid off. She is fine now." But I still couldn't tell him something.
"Was she able to identify you?"
"No, not at all.
But Louis you are my only hope. Only you can make her remember about me. Please help me bro!!"
I cried insanely and gave Louis a tight hug. I felt so selfish about myself.
It was Louis who stood beside her like a pillar of love and support during her times of need and now I'm here to just take her away from him.
How can I be so ruthless? I'm simply using everyone. But it would be impossible for me see Louis and Jenny getting closer. But victory always wins over evil. And I'm the evil here.
How can I get back the love of my life?
While I was lost to some other world Louis comforted me. But I kept on hallucinating.....

Loui's POV:
I can understand the level of stress Liam is undergoing now. It's good that he has understood his mistake.
Anyways, Mellissa being the basic culprit we cannot really blame him for everything.
I think I can try to bring them back again. Once I shipped "LENNY" i.e Liam+Jenny when they were together. So I promised Liam to remind her about everyone else bc I knew that even if I loved Jenny she is not made to be mine. She is made for LIAM!!

The doctor discharged Jenny, the very next day. He told us to take her wherever we want, feed her everything but not to take her to her accident spot or the reason for her accident so soon. She might react violently seeing them.
I had a lump in my throat..So how do I tell her about Li?
May be I shouldn't right away. She needs some rest now.

Hello everyone!! Ik I'm coming back after a huge span of time. That has also got a reason which u do not hv to KNOW XOXO. This part is a bit short but do u think Louis will b successful in the motto he set?
