Aboard

After two excruciating minutes that felt like years, especially to Ryan, Peyton finally called for him to drop the anchor as the were close enough to jump aboard

"Drop it!" He yelled and Ryan did so

"Done!" Ryan yelled back and after a few moments the anchor latched and they came to a grinding halt

The second they stopped Peyton ran down to the main deck and they both grabbed a rope, in true pirate they take the ropes and swung across to the other ship, it was also a pirate ship, by the time they had swung across they found what would normally be described as a ghost ship but as they turned around and saw Chloe stood with a knife in her hand yet again, Sabrina was stood between her and a man around her age, it looked like he was hiding something but they couldn't see what

"Chloe don't do this, not now, please!" Sabrina pleaded with her sister by Chloe just wouldn't listen

"They want to ruin everything for us, they all do! The only people we can trust is each other!" Chloe had finally lost it completely, it had all become too much, she just lost her mind but suddenly she heard the guys creeping up towards her and turned, she went to stab whoever was behind her but luckily Ryan was just far enough away to only have his arm caught as she swiped around, the cut wasn't deep and as she saw it was him she fell to her knees

"I'm sorry!" She cried out as tears fell from her cheeks "I'm sorry" this time it came out as a whisper

"Chloe" Ryan whispered as he knelt down to her level "why are you sorry?" He asked her slightly confused

"I was going to kill you as well, I was going to get you to come here and then kill you" she burst out

"Do you still intend to do that?" Ryan asked, not afraid of her at all anymore, he never truly was

"No" she replied

Suddenly there was movement from where she had been aiming her anger, the man who Sabrina no longer shielded as she stood at the side with Peyton

"Arrraaaagggghhhhh" she screamed out in pain, not physical but emotional, she went for help knife which she had dropped after cutting Ryan

"Chloe no!" He yelled angrily almost but he had almost no idea why

Suddenly he man pulled out a knife of his own and held it up to the throat of a boy who appeared out from behind him

"Chloe stop!" He yelled again, this time she listened and backed away but in the mat second the man fell to the ground, as he did Sabrina was revealed behind him, holding a bloodied knife

"What the...?" Peyton looked round to where Sabrina had been stood moments ago and then to the knife in her hand "what is it with knives?!" He yelled, not quite annoyed but rather agitated

The little boy ran away from them, they followed him, he ran to the edge and seemed to be trying to climb to side, he looked to be about four maybe five so didn't do a very good job but they were still rather worried

"We're not going to hurt you" Sabrina told him gently by he looked at her terrified

"What's your name little guy? Mines Ryan" Ryan told him, trying to coax him out of his shell

"Toby" the little boy replied quietly in a small adorable voice

"Toby come away from there, we don't want something bad to happen to you" Peyton told him but he just looked at him with frightened eyes

"Please, we won't hurt you I promise" Chloe plead with him and he slowly away from the edge

"What happened to your mommy and daddy?" Chloe asked gently, it appeared he would only respond to her properly, she had made a connection with him

"They died" he replied

The four looked at each other

"What's going to happen to me?" He asked in his sweet little voice

"We'll keep you safe" Chloe replied

"Don't leave me" he replied, that made her feel a pang of guilt as that was exactly what she and Sabrina were about to do

"Can you do me a favour? Can you go and pack all your stuff up for me sweetie? Then stay there until Ryan and Peyton come and get you, they'll take you back to London and take you to the home for boys so you can have a nice place to live and people to look after you" she told him gently

"Why can't you?" He asked her with confusion in his little blue eyes

"Because I've gotta go now sweetie" she told him as a tear rolled down her cheek

"Why?" He asked her again, he looked like he was about to cry too which just shattered her heart

"I just do, but they'll look after you, they're good people, much better than me" she replied and she was sure it was true "please just do it for me, okay Toby honey?"

"Okay" he nodded before running of the deck

"I guess it's time" Sabrina whispered, she went to her sister and helped her pick herself up from the floor

"I guess so" Chloe replied sadly
