Chapter 1

  My new fate: chpt 1
Today is christmas morning and an extra special day. On December 25th my Scarlett Faith was born. A year later and she is turning 1 year old and I have officially been a teen mom for 1 year.
My life has changed so much and I wouldn't have it any other way. Right now my baby is opening her first christmas present. Its just me and her as my parents disowned me when i found out I was pregnant, the baby daddy was never to be seen again, and I have no siblings.
My best friend Santana will be here soon with her boyfriend. She has been my rock since i moved here to Niagara Falls. She helps with Scarlett, she keeps me sane and supports my life choices happily.

"Mama!"

My attention turns towards my one year old. There she sits ripped wrapping paper in front of her, holding her new teddy bear in her tiny hands.
"Wook!" "Wow baby!" I say. I give her another present to open before getting up to fix our breakfast.
From now on, every Christmas we will be celebrating both Scar's Birthday and Christmas. Its a lot on one day, but it's a better excuse to have more people over. 

As i put together a small breakfast for us, i look on the table at this mornings mail. Two bills and a pink envelope. Our address and Scarlett's name on it. I open it and i'm not surprised with i see a cheap birthday card for Scar..."Love from Grandma and Grandpa". I mentally roll my eyes at how ignorant they are and how they were never interested in Scarlett and this was just making it seem like they care.

I go get Scar from the living room and put her in her highchair. "Here you go, sliced banana's and toast with jam, my li'l lady." she just smiles at me and grabs some banana. 

So, this is my life now. I like the way things are. My friends help so much it doesnt even feel like its just me and Scar. I know in our future we will be so close and best friends.

Ok so, thats the first chapter. This is my first time writing and im gonna take it slow and steady. I really just wanted to do this and was so inspired by other wattpad users that i have to try it. I will try and update as often as possible
