Chapter Two

It had been a few hours since she had fallen asleep and stopped holding onto Derek's arm. Derek sat in a waiting chair with Spencer.

"You seem more attached to her then any other person we have saved," Spencer said out of nowhere. Derek looked to him and sighed.

"Yeah, she's...I don't know," he mumbled and crossed his arms. A scream could be heard from her room; Spencer and Derek ran to the room and she was shouting in her sleep, punching the air.

"Calm down! Calm down!" Derek controlled her arms, and then held her to his chest, stroking her hair.

"Calm down. I'm here. It's okay, no one is gonna hurt you," the woman woke up and looked up to Derek- her eyes which were filled with horror and fear were now filled with comfort and relief.

"Please stay with me Derek...Please stay with me!" she closed her eyes and held him close. He nodded and placed a hand on her. Looking at her stomach, he felt horrible. So he just closed his eyes and sat there with her.

(A few days later)

Allison- she was finally getting the help she needed and was in Penelope's victim group. She hadn't talked about what had happened to her but was happy to finally be free, but not without worry. It was the end of the group meeting and Allison wanted to talk to Penelope in private.

"Um...Penelope? I..I have a question..." she said quietly and smiled. Penelope turned around and nodded.

"Anything, Sweetness," her smiled was wide and she waited for Allison to speak.

"You can find people right? I was wondering if you could find my birth parents...I was adopted and never had the chance to find them. Is it okay if you could? I don't want to trouble you..." Penelope shook her head and hugged Allison.

"Of course! I'll get it to you very soon when I get to my things. Why do you want to find them now after all these years?" she made a pitying face and held Allison's hand.

"I did...I wanted to find them after...after..after I was married but..I couldn't."

"Alright. I'll try my best to find them- okay?" she nodded and Allison then walked away to a shelter.

She had been staying in a woman's home for a while, not wanting to bother anyone with her needs. She was walking back to her home when she looked at her small (it seemed big to her) tummy.

"Don't worry. Mommy's here and no one will ever hurt you again.." she giggled, accidentally bumping into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry Sir, I..." she stopped and looked who she hit.

"Oh...Agent Morgan!" Derek looked up from his phone and smiled.

"Allison! How you been? Is the baby alright?" he was a bit excited to see her.

"I've been...healing. And yeah he's fine," she giggled again, feeling slightly giddy.

"Where are you going to now? Back home?" she nodded.

"Yeah, I gotta change shelters-" she was cut off.

"Shelters? You don't have any where else to stay?" she simply shook her head at his question. 

"I can't pay..." she said, feeling a bit ashamed of herself.

"Well...I'm heading to my place right now. If you want, you could stay with me for a while. At least till you're back on your feet?" she did a soft smile and nodded.

"That would be amazing...but I don't want to bother you Agent Morgan," he shook his head and took her hand.

"Come on...it's the least I could do," taking him up on his word, she nodded and walked with him towards his car.

"Let me guess...you need some clothes?" she sadly nodded, feeling his hand with hers. She smiled and looked to him, humming gently. Derek opened the passenger door for her as she got in.

Sooner or later she arrived at Morgan's place.

"Agent Morgan I-" she was stopped.

"It's Derek..." he took her hand and narrowed his eyes at the ground.

"Oh well...Derek thank you...it really means a lot that you would do this for me," he got out of his trance and nodded.

"Come on, let's go!" she got out the car with his help and looked at his home. He held her softly and unlocked his door.

"You can sleep on the bed..I'll sleep on my couch if you want," he scratched his head awkwardly.

"I...I don't want to sleep alone..." she mumbled, wondering if he heard her.

"Then I'll be right beside you."
