Rejected but a Second Chance!?!

After I had made the entire pack breakfast
I decided to sneak off to let my wolf free cause i haven't shifted since last week. I had always had a secret waterfall that i would always go to when I needed to cry or just think in general.

I let April control my body when Shifting, my bones crack and rearrange themselves my arms turning into front paws and my legs turning into hind legs and my fur sprouts out of my skin. My fur color is golden brown just like my mothers but I have some weird birthmark in the shape of a crown on my head which I thought was pretty cool and didn't mean much.

Running through the forest April dodges through trees and logs at full speed reaching a beautiful waterfall with crystal clear water flowing. The Sun shining on the water causes the water to look magical as the fish swim across.

April dives right into the water playing and splashing around catching fish to eat. April then swims slowly across the water looking at her prey, when she spots a loner fish and tries to quickly bite it but it swims away fast and I laugh at her and she just pouts in response.

A few more hours of playing and eating I took control of my body then got out of the water shaking the excess off my fur when I hear a twig snap I quickly turn to the sound.

I waited for a few minutes and I hear another twig snap, I growl getting into a protective stance my beta aura coming off me in waves. That's when the most gorgeous man stepped out of the forest, he had the most striking blue eyes with....purp- oh my god he's the guy from my dreams!!

Just then I get a mind link from Hunter telling me to get back to the pack house cause the Royal family has arrived but I don't respond back.

I look at the man with curiosity as he takes a step toward i take a step back, this keeps going until my back is up against a tree and he is hovering over me. He bends down touches my fur and I purr in response feeling tingles and he chuckles causing my wolf to go into a frenzy.

"SECOND CHANCE SECOND CHANCE!!" April says jumping up and down in my head.

This is all happening fast I mean I just got rejected yesterday only to find out i have a second chance mate I don't think I'm ready for him, what if he rejects me and leaves me for some slut.

"No no no this mate won't reject us or leave us." She says calming down completely after her excitement.

"Hello are you in there little mate" I see him snapping his fingers in my face trying to get my attention.

I nod my head running away towards the pack house in a hurry.

Once I get back towards the pack house I see the pack standing out on the driveway along with the royal family looking straight at me.

I start walking towards the back of the crowd when Hunter puts his hand on my shoulder giving me a look telling me that when this is over he's gonna punish me, oh great just great maddy you managed to piss him off.

He guides me to the front next to him speaking to the King.

"Oh yes! Here is my mate and Luna, Madison now we can begin Your Majesty."

"I Appreciate your readiness alpha but My Son is-"

"Right here father" A voice says behind him

I thought he was from another pack but there he is in all his glory, Son Of the Alpha King.

He looks at me trying to read my expression but I quickly turn away hiding my face in my hair wishing they would just get on already.

"Ah my boy, let's begin shall we Alpha Smith." the King says.

All the unmated She-wolves line up waiting, wishing and hoping that they could be the Princes Mate but as he passes them their once hopefulness gets shattered in an instant. Once he gets towards Kandi She pushes her boobs up, fixes her hair then looks at him trying to be seductive which is kinda funny cause she looks like she's constipated but he just passes her like she wasn't even there.

Once he has looked at all the unmated women he says the one thing I was hoping to hear.

"I Have found my mate, She is standing right there" he points to me and everyone in my pack gasps and some don't even care as long as they don't have to see my face ever again, harsh.

Hunter Stands in front of me growling in the process and Kandi decides to put her input where it isn't needed.

"How is This piece of garbage your mate you should just make me princess instead I could give you more than her." She says putting her arms around the prince causing my wolf to growl.

"Jealous aren't we little mate, it's okay I don't want her I want you." He shrugs her off causing my heart to melt.

"She is MINE and I think you should just let this go cause your not taking her." He grabs my wrist tight causing me to wince, light sparks emit.

"Oh But I am taking her and I suggest you back off and give her to me before things get real ugly."

Everyone looks between both men and you could feel the tension In the air, Its thick like butter and Hunter says the words that tells everybody that it's about to go down.

"I Hunter Gavin Smith Challenge you, Prince Xander Pierce to a Derium De La Lucina.
