When You Call ( Kuroken )

I woke up to Kuroo dressing me with the uniform from yesterday.

" It's fleshly washed. You look so cute in it, hey have you ever played volleyball? You should try for the team, I can help you get good! " Kuroo suggests.

" I've only ever played video games.. but maybe. "

The black kitten hops on my head and tried to lay down without falling off.

" Awhh that's adorable, here let's take a family photo. " He hands me his phone and puts me on his shoulders.

*Time skip

Once we arrive, we can see many people talking. I can tell there is probably a buzz from yesterday.

As we walk in I hear what two girls are chatting on about.

" So, they are like.. gay.. for each other? But he's so cool. All the girls love the tall dark haired boys. " One of the girls says. The other girl just nodes in confirmation " How do you know it's a real thing? "

" Look at this picture! " The second girls says to prove what she confirmed.

I try to avoid to two girls eye contact, but it was unavoidable with how tall kuroo was.

" See, there is a super cool tall guy right there. " The first one whispers. Once the second girl realizes it's kuroo, she calls him over.

" Oi, kuroo! Look at this, it's HUGE news right now! "

Kuroo gives me a reassuring nod. I follow behind him.

He sees the phone before me, and i hear him let go a breath I didn't know he was holding.

My anxiety increases, but I look anyway.

I was taken aback by the picture. Sp they weren't talking about us. But kageyama and the little shrimp I saw next to Lev on the first day of school?

" Oh here comes the man who supplied us with this picture! "

The most average boy I have ever seen comes over.

" Sup, names Todd. " He nodded at kuroo and looks at me as if he is trying to recognize me, but shakes it off and continues on. " Yeah actually, that was yesterday in gym class. "

Kageyama POV

" Haha, you guys are always together and treat one another like a married couple! Hahahaha." All the kids begin to laugh at hinata and I.

Hinata looks away, tears pooling up in his eyes. Then he goes for the changing room.

" Hinata, wait! " I say trying to nonchalantly stride my way to catch up with him.

" There they go! " The same unknown kid from ealier remarks again.

" Hinata please.. " I beg, once we reach the inside of the boys changing room. " I've never seen you get upset publically before.. "

" I'M NOT GAY KAGEYAMA. " Hinata screams at me, tears over flowing his eyes.

I step back, stunned. " Hinata that doesn't matter... if you love someone then you love someone.. "

" NO. NOW YOU ARE THE DUMBASS KAGEYAMA. WHAT HAVE YOU GONE SOFT? WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT LOVE! "

" I'm.. I'm not going to fight with you. Say what you want. " I start to tear up, the salty liquid begginging release. I let my soft side be shown for only Hinata.

"Wait.. Kageyama.. I'm... sorry.. I didn't mean too-" Hinata trys again, regaining his senses.

" It's okay, I understand if you don't like me like that.. " I look down trying to hide him from my own disappointed and sadness.

The next thing I feel is Hinata's soft body grabbing onto mine.

" I shouldn't have said that.. " He whispers into my chest.

I thought I heard a snicker, but maybe I was just paranoid.

*Back to present.

" After I teased them, they ran to the changing room and i caught them in the act, as you can see. " Todd says with His chin tipped up, full of pride. " I also have a really good picture of- oh yeah! Someone really close to you actually ken-"

" So that was Todd the trashcan? How fitting. I don't believe hate on hate, because honestly dude you must need some positive vibes in your life if you are picking on happy innocent people." Kuroo says and takes my wrist and walks away, leaving them all stunned.

He walks me to my class. " Welp, this is your stop. "

"How did you know? "

" Well on the first day I saw you painting in there. " He says as a blush falls across his cheeks. ( If you go back to part 1, you can see kuroo in the picture)

I begin to smile as something catches my eye.

" Kageyama-hh, staa-hp." Hinata trys to say quietly so no one will notice, between the fits of laughter.

" I never knew you were so ticklish, but I'm glad I know now. " Kageyama continues, clearly not caring what anyone says or thinks.

I turn back and then see Iwaizumi heading up to the class behind Kuroo. I begin to get flustered and anxious. Kuroo turns around to face Iwaizumi and clears his throat.

" Iwaizumi." He says, loud and clear.

OHH SHIIIIIII WHAAA GONNA HAPPEN?!
