Chapter 19- Their Talk
“Jake, I’m supper confused right now, take me home, I don’t know what’s going on, take me home!!” Victoria screamed.
“Victoria, you have to listen to me, you cannot go home.”
“Well, tell me why then?”
“Because you can’t.”
“You know, you’re going to be the most wanted criminal, right?”
“And, how would they know that!”
“Um….. They’ll know as soon as I get home!!!”
“No, you’re not going home, would you like to be killed or what!”
“What? What are you talking about?”
“Ugh, your wanted to be killed on 9/11. Your uncle sent me and assassin to come and kill you.”
“Wait?? What ! I invited you to kill me, since when and how do you know that, that’s and assassin?”
“I just know and no you didn’t invite me to kill you and your uncle is a wanted man!”
“How would you know that? No one knows that but my family.”
“I know, Victoria, I work with the S.A.U.B.C.”
“What in the world is that?”
“It’s Secret Agents Under Ground Complex.”
“What do they do?”
“They protect anyone that is in need of it.”
“Like me?”
“Yes, Like you, my job is to protect you, always.”
“What!?! I can take care of myself.”
“Apparently you almost got yourself killed!”
“But, how would you know if it is my uncle that wants to kill me?”
“He had a meeting settled up with me, early in the morning, when he told me that I had to kill you, I saw his face, a little, until the light came on and that’s when I knew that it was your uncle.”
“Oh……But why me? Why not Harry or my father and why would they pick me?”
“Your uncle kills the youngest in the families, and yes you’re the youngest one in your family.”
Her voice became shaky. :”What are you talking about, my uncle wouldn’t do that to me.”
“It’s your uncle that has to kill you, a man sent him, but he doesn’t want to so, he sent an assassin or someone close to you and they would have to kill you.”
“Oh, so a man is in charge of my uncle, he sent my uncle to kill me, so instead he sent an assassin to kill me or someone close to me?”
“Exactly, so that’s why I cannot take you home, that’s where they are going to look for you.”
