"Don't stop! Don't stop! Don't stop! Talking to me, Don't stop! Don't stop! Don't stop! Givin' me things! Don't stop! Don't stop! Don't stop! Laughin' about it, Don't stop! Don't stop!..." Julie pranced around as she listened to the music through her earphones. She loved this song, and didn't mind making crazy moves to it since she was walking by herself and no one was really around her. She had been walking for about thirty minutes to Shadow's house and now she was getting close. If it weren't for the weather, she would be sweating like crazy by now. Lucky, it was a pretty chill day with a cool breeze. She stopped dancing as her music ended and started to walk normally again. As she walked on the trail she stopped when she saw a sign that pointed left on the road. She took that direction. Julie took her earphones off and put them away in her spikes with her phone, she learned that little trick from Sonic, since he sometimes keeps stuff hidden in his spikes. Julie became more watchful as she turned to a drive thru to look for Shadow's place. The only thing thing she knew about where he lived was that his house was pretty small and cheap with a small hangar or garage like thing next to it. She also knew that his house would be farther from his neighbors, since he liked the solitude. Julie walked past the other houses until she came to, pretty much what she would call a wall of trees. Huh, seems pretty "Shadow" like to me She thought as she took a step forward. She pushed through the small garden of trees and soon enough found a decently looking shack with a hangar by it. Julie slowly walked over to the house and stood by the entrance door No Solicitors! She read a little sign on the front door. She raised an eyebrow, "Now this seems like Shadow." She turned her head too look at the hangar, "And the hangar is open. That means Shadow is probably not even worried about anyone stealing his stuff." She smiled and chuckled a bit at the thought of someone being stupid enough to steal from Shadow. She turned back to the door and checked on the jacket, quickly patting away the excess dust from it. She got closer to the doorbell, some would be worried to even get closer to the door, but Julie didn't care, she knew that Shadow can be rude and mean but she was used to it and she knows that he won't kill you unless you do something wrong or stupid. Wait, stupid? Now Julie was a bit worried, she had the tendency to do "stupid things" and sometimes Shadow would get pretty annoyed by them. Julie shook her head, "I'm only returning his jacket. I mean, that's good... Right? Right." She pressed on the door bell, the sound of it was like any other doorbell, in a "Ding Dong" type tune. Julie stood for a second, and then another second, and another. She sighed impatiently, she's been standing for four minutes. She knows Shadow doesn't like company but he's not a turtle. "Maybe he's not home?" Julie walked over to one of the windows and stood on her tippy toes to get a look inside. The windows where covered by curtains but she could still see. It looked much better inside than outside, there seemed to be a big TV with a couch in front of it, on the right side where some stairs leading to the second floor, then to the left came another room, Probably the kitchen. The lights in the house where off, "He's probably not here right now" Julie got down and sighed in frustration, she walked all the way here to see an empty house. She stood for a second and looked around, "Maybe I should wait for him? He should come back, maybe." Something flashed at the end of her vision, she turned toward the hangar and gasped, "Whoa, sweet bike!" She came closer to the garage and noticed a black and red motorcycle standing near the back of the wall. She got closer and almost went inside, she stopped. No! What am I thinking? She turned around, This isn't my home! I can't just go off rampaging through other people's stuff! ... But, She glanced back at the bike, That is a cool bike... She turned fully and went inside a little, and I'm not rampaging through anything! I just want to see the bike, I'm sure Shadow won't mind. Or... Notice. She looked around and made sure no one was around. Ones the coast was clear she put the jacket down on a small work table and walked over to the motorcycle. She giggled a bit and bent down to take a look at the wheels, "Whoo ho ho, wow bulletproof rubber?" She slid over to the seat, "Gasp! Durable seating with extra thick leather?!" She patted the seat, "But yet soft and comfortable... Gasp!" She went over to the headlights, "Ooo~ extra bright bulbs to see even through the thickest of fog!" She moved to the side of the bike and touched some sort of spring in the pedals, "And I have no idea what the heck this thing is for, but I like it!" She laughed a bit and picked up the jacket, she liked different machines and and vehicles and always wanted to see and get to know more about them. She walked over to the bike from the front side and looked over it, not touching it. She crossed her arms, "Hmm, about 20 minutes passed and Shadow's still not back yet." She chuckled, "Pfft imagine if he actually saw me? Ha ha! I'd probably be dead." "Now wouldn't that be something?." Julie's heart nearly stopped at it's tracks. The voice was was deep, dark, and definitely not friendly. She slowly turned around. And there he was, arms crossed, ruby eyes burning into her's. The hedgehog standing in front of her was the person she referred to on her last comment. Shadow the Hedgehog.
