Title credit; All Time Low-Stella
I ponder of something great- I groaned and turned on my bedside lamp, glancing at the time. 4 a.m. blinked in bright green letters and i sighed. I might as well answer. It could be important. "Hello?" I answer tiredly. I heard loud and trashy pop music thumping through the receiver before the small forward of the Tigers spoke,"Tyler?" I tilt my head. "Um,Beck? Yeah, hey." I could hear him move farther away from the music before he returned,"Hey. Listen you've gotta come down to Chig's bar." I frowned and sat up. "Why? Is everything alright?" He sighed. "No. Vic drank way too much than he should have and well, the coach is going to kill him if this shows up anywhere. Bottom line, you need to come and get him because he is way too hammered to drive on his own." I scoffed. "Why me? He has a brother and you guys. Why did you call me and not them?" I slipped on my shoes and my jacket, grabbing my keys along the way. Of course,I was going to pick him up. The idiot might get himself into something bad..or worse. "Because he's been saying your name for the last three hours while babbling on and on about you. That and I knew you'd come." I glare at the phone, hoping that it reaches him before running out to my car. "Okay, ass hole. By the way, glad to see you got that new phone you were searching for." Beck chuckled and I could hear the smirk in his voice. "Oh,obviously." I rolled my eyes and hung up,speeding down to Chig's. I walk in and look around, seeing some girl trying to attract his attention to her but all he was doing was talking Beck's ear off about me. I smirked. That stupid fucker. I walked over and tapped Vic's shoulder, him facing me with a dazed-but still cute-smile. "Ty-..ler!" He slurred loudly in,what I think was to be,celebration. I shushed him and smiled at Beck. "I've got him. Go get 'em,Tiger." He laughed and saluted before walking away and flirting with some chick with red hair. "C'mere, big guy." I grab Vic's arm and wrapped it around my shoulder as mine wrapped around his waist. I helped him as he waddles and sways to my car, going on about some choco-taco he and Mike had back in high school. "Vic,hun,I have to put your seatbelt on. Sit still." He nods over excitedly and I clip him in before running around to my side and clipping myself in. I glanced over at him and sighed. "Vic,babe, why did you do this to yourself?" He looked over at me slowly and smiled, blinking slowly. "I-" He held his mouth and his face flushed with a tint of green. "Open the door!" Vic did as I said and yanked it open, throwing up on the curb side of the road. I winced and rubbed his back for him. Once he finished offing his food,he sat up and closed the door, taking some deep breaths. I leaned in the back seat and grabbed the crackers and water that I bought on the way, handing them to him. "The crackers will absorb most of the mucus and the water is to gargle and spit to get the taste out. I have Verner's for when you feel slightly better." He smiled with his lips closed and nodded in thanks. "No problem. Uh,l-let's get you home." It's quiet for a while until his rough and edgy voice cracked through it. "I'm really sorry,Tyler." I frowned and glanced from him back to the road. "Vic,it's okay. You got drunk. Everyone does at least once." He sighed. "N-no. Not about that. I'm sorry about the o-other day. I don't k-..know why I slept with her." I tilt my head but keep my eyes on the road. "Um,don't worry about it,Vic." Vic took a huge amount of water and gargled it twice, spitting it outside the window. "I worry about it because you're beautiful and a-..amazing and smart, and great at everything you do. You're the best cook. You're the best girl I've ever met. And I basically c-..cheated on you. I was a bad Vic. Bad,bad Vic." I tried not to giggle at how adorable he was being and focused on getting him home. He was so drunk that he was babbling out things that he would really never say in his sobriety. But I had to admit,it was pretty cute. "But I only did it to show you that I didn't need you and I do. I really do need you,Ty-..ler. I love you. You're my one. My brother always talked a-..about how he found Alysha and she was his one. You're m-..my one. Ya' know?" He rambled on,slurring here and there. His face was tinted back to a flushed out red, telling me that he was still drunk so I could say whatever I wanted. "Yeah, you really were a douche, huh?" Vic gasped and I laughed. "What?" He pointed at my cheek and I took a left down his street. "You said a b-..bad language word and I'm telling!" He screamed childishly. I smirked and pulled into his drive way, flashbacks of the other day going by and tears flushing my eyes. "Oh shit, what's wrong,Ty?" I shook my head and gave a forced smile, noting the fact that he was sobering up. "N-nothing,Vic. Do you think that you can go in yourself? I'm kind of not in the mood." I sniffled and looked out of my window at the other houses. I gripped the steering wheel tightly and my fingers turned a bright yellow but i knew to contain myself from letting anything out,i had to hold onto something. I felt his hand overlapping mine, prying my fingers away softly. I looked over at him to see his face slightly back to normal. Vic leaned down to my hand and kissed my knuckles, full of scars from when I punched the mirror after we fought. "Hey,don't cry." I laughed a bit and wiped my eyes. "It's a little late for that, don't ya' think?" He brushed a strand of hair behind my ear and kissed my cheek. "I still think you're beautiful.." I frowned in confusion and looked him in the eyes. "Y-you do?" Vic chuckled and kissed my forehead. "Of course,and..I don't ever want to lose you. You're my best friend." I smiled and leaned my forehead against his. "Aw,Vic. You're my best friend too. I've told you things that I have never told anyone. I've done things with you that I've never done before. I..don't want to lose you either." Vic smiled wide. "So,does this mean you forgive me?" I laughed and nodded, wiping my eyes again. "Yeah. Only because it's impossible for me to be mad at you." He grinned and wiped my cheeks with his thumbs. "Tyler? W-when you said that...w-when you said that we did things you've never done with anyone before,.." I tilt my head. "Yes?" Vic bit his lip and looked me in the eyes. "Did you mean that you've never kissed anyone before?" I sighed. Well, the truth had to come out some time. "Yeah,and...I never..had sex before.." I looked down at my lap and Vic hooked his finger under my chin, lifting it up. "Are you saying that..I was your first?" I nodded slowly. "Wow. That's just..wow." I frowned. "What's 'wow'?" He shrugged. "It all makes sense now." I nod and shrug. "I guess so-" Vic cut me off by locking his lips with mine. When we pulled apart,I rested my forehead on his. "What was that for?" I laughed lightly. He smiled. "To show you that I'll wait until you're ready to go any farther." I grinned and kissed his cheek. "Well, that's very sweet of you." Vic shrugged smugly. "I have my moments." I rolled my eyes playfully and laughed. "Okay, hotshot. Goodnight." Vic chuckled and kissed my cheek. "Good night."
