Adventure Awaits

The beginning

Logan awoke on a cool crisp October morning. He reached out from under his bed covers and pulled open the curtains of his old cherry wood window frame. When he opened the curtains his window was tinted blue so the light wouldn't be so bright. Logan threw his covers off (half awake and half asleep) he heard a giggle from the back corner of his room closest to the door Logan quickly covered himself finally knowing he was just in his underwear. She sat there and looked as if she was studying him he looked her over at that moment when their eyes met his heart felt as if it was going to burst out of his chest she was so beautiful she had jet black hair a black hoodie, skinny jeans with gloves and her eyes were a powder blue he had brown hair and hazel eyes. He was well built and was a wiz at math he snapped out of the dazed state he was in as he looked around to see her climbing out of his window he noticed a pool of drool was starting to fill on his blanket he quickly got up and threw on bluejeans, a white undershirt and a black leather jacket and he put on his gloves and hat. He ran downstairs to get his motorcycle and he started it up and drove down bluebird street looking for her. He finally came out of town about to turn back when he saw her running to an underground tunnel he decided for stealth reasons to leave his bike where it was and to follow. Logan entered the entrance of the old entrance and noticed it was an old coal mine he heard her running down the path he followed her thinking to himself. What is she running from guess ill find out soon enough, the tunnel turned left and right he started to sweat he wiped off the sweat that was running down his forehead. Then the tunnel finally ended out of breath Logan sat there and ate a loaf of bread he had stashed in his bag the sweet, warm, succulent slice of bread he heard shuffling of feet he turned to see her right as she snatched his bag she started to run and he began chasing her even deeper into the mine he finally catches up to her and walks straight up to her and tries to take his bag back she puts it behind her back. Logan snatched her to him her so close to where they were only inches apart he smiled and took the bag and released. She opened her mouth to protest but decided it was best not to speak she just looked at him sadly, he chuckled, why so sad hmm?, He looks at her with a warming smile, she just sat there and stuck her tongue out at him and then she let out a small laugh. He motions for her to come over to him Logan opens the bag slightly are you curious of whats inside , his face now turned sad, she nodded her head he slowly opened up the bag and pulled out an item that was a picture of his mom, dad, little sis and him holding their dog named sparky his face swelled up with tears and everything goes white around him.
