"Tally" called Ryan with a Boring tone. Looking up from my paperwork which I always had plenty of. "No, I don't want to hear it, do you see this" gesturing to the pile of work Leo had given to me. Or Mr. Abello as I referred to him in the office. I loved my job, I did it gave me leave, and benefits, and everything that a secretary could ask for. Gossip, friendship, and a hot boss to drool over when I didn't think of his crazy plan of him wanting to seduce me.
"Ohh, this looks thick, Why?" Ryan asked. I shrugged, "Leo just dumped it on my desk on his way out". "Right before a large shipment is deposited into the accounts it's like that, everyone's loaded with it out of the blue" Ryan worked in accountant, and he knew a lot about this place. Which was so weird since he only worked here for six years, he did his internship here.
"Couldn't that be why" I asked looking up from my computer for only a second. "No, not even. If it was to do with money we'd get it all and maybe you a handful, but we all do. Right now administrations just got dropped off what we call the Hell, you think you got it bad" He snorted flicking the thick pile. Sighing, "Is that why you came up here?" I asked. "No, I came to see if you and I were having lunch or if we planned to starve for a while?" he asked grinning. We sort of were pretending to date. Though, I wouldn't mind actually dating Ryan he was in my league and he made me feel... pretty, I guess. According to Tristan who meet him once, 'He lacks style".
Not that I minded, fanning myself I looked at my watch, and nodded "Lunch" reaching for my purse as I stood up. "Tally" his voice was thick with authority, making me look up at him, making my knees weak, still. Meeting his blue eyes, I smiled softly, fighting the urge to go to wet myself "Mr. Abello". Leo, or Mr. Abello in the office, dressed lavishly daily, his hair was often parted and slicked down, with his unforgettable charming grin. He was what you'd expect from a COO, "Did you finish those documents I gave you" he asked stopping at my desk, his blue eyes threatening. I looked over to the stack on my desk that I had barely touched and looked it, "Um, no sir". His eyes shifted briefly to Ryan, "Then I think it's best if you stay here, I need those done before you leave here tonight". I sighed, looking at Ryan who was looking at me with wide eyes. "Yes, Sir" I mumbled and he walked into his office closing the door with a bang.
"Are you dating the boss?" he asked, when it was closed. I shook my head, quickly feeling my neck tingle, "N-no, why would you think that?" I fold my hands together squeezing them together, "Just checking it out is all, I hate to be stepping on some line" he told me leaning on my desk. "Want me to bring you back something?" he asked. "Nah, I'll starve, enjoy your lunch" I say, going back behind my desk, sitting down I rubbed my tired eyes, looking at the stack of files he wanted me to finish. "Tally, order me a something from the BQ" Mr. Abello buzzed. I rolled my eyes, but ordered his lunch.
When the delivery man came up, I charged on the company card, that he had given me. Knocking on his door, I entered just as he told me to enter. He was sitting behind his desk, with is back to me looking out the window, his view was wide and gave a clear shot of the ocean over the lower building that surrounded FCA Shipping, Fiducia Shipping, it was really beautiful until you realized just how high up you had to be to see that. "Mr. Abello, your lunch" I say, setting on the table, turning to leave. "Do you like him working here?" he asked. I blinked, stopping where I was shocked, I turned on my heel meeting his empty blue eyes that seem to have frozen over. "Do you?" he asked softly, very calm. "Ryan?" I asked, a little confused. "I don't like him hanging around you" he said turning around, his empty blue eyes clouded slightly. I stood very still he was scary like this sometimes, I learned that in the two months that I had worked here, He had his limit for everything.
"Great" he said, clapping his hands, making the grimness disappear, He smiled letting all the muscle in his face relax, making me relax it was odd. "Come have lunch with me". "I'm not hungry" I lie looking out the open door. "I'll help you with some of the files" he smirked. "Are you bribing me?" I asked. "Of course, I am, Tally, how else am I going to get you to spend time with me" he says opening his food carton, I smile going to grab the files. Even though I had started to get a hang of the rhythm here, I still lagged when it came to the files, it was very precise.
