"Good morning sunshine!" Stacy sang gaily just as I opened my eyes. I nodded back at her and smiled slowly, stretching my arms out over my head. A well played act indeed, sometimes I surprised myself.
After my and Harry's nightly meeting I had gotten zero sleep. When Harry had taken off I had strolled back to my room and gone straight to bed, gazing up at the ceiling discovering a few spots of dirt that bothered me. When I had finally tricked myself into thinking the spots didn't bother me anymore, my thoughts were right back were they'd started off, on Harry. Our mysterious parting and the way he had almost leaned in for a kiss. Also on the way his lips moved when he took a bite of his sandwich, strangely. I had continued the very same train of thought until the sun let me know it was time for a new day. As far as Stacy knew, sweet, unknowing little Stacy, I had been safe and sound under the covers all night.
I stepped even further into my character and sat up rubbing my temples. "I think I had a dream Professor Wilson took me out on a date."
"Euw Kase, he's like 40." Stacy puckered her nose and finished pulling her hair up in a ponytail.
"I don't know Stace, I think dreams in some unconsious way are trying to telling you something."
"You can't be serious!" Stacy pulled the most disgusted face I've even seen in my 18 years of life.
"Of course I'm not serious, what do you think of me?" I laughed. Stacy's entire body relaxed in relief, then she threw her hairbrush at me.
I decided not to tell her about Harry yet. It seemed silly, but I thought of him as mine. Not in a romantic way, just mine. He was new here and as far as my knowledge stretched, I was the only one who had accompanied him at 4am in the morning. I couldn't be sure of course, but I was pretty convinced. I wanted to keep it like that until I knew a bit more about him. He was a little unclear to me still, like a fogged window. If you press your face against the surface you can distinguish overall what furniture there was in a room, but so much personal touches remain undiscovered.
"I'm off to see Ethan bye!" Before I had the time to raise my hand and wave the door slammed behind her and Stacy was gone. The only times Stacy was up before me was when she was about to hang out with her boyfriend, I should've known. I sighed amused and got dressed to face a new day at school.

Harry leaned his tall figure against the wall next to the classroom looking down at his phone. I walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He looked up at me with big eyes, locks falling into his face.
"Hey stranger!"
We accompanied each other inside and sat down. To my surprise I turned to my left and saw the class clown John taking the seat next to me. I looked over my shoulder and saw a smiling Harry at the back of the classroom. I rose my eyebrows and shook my head discretly as I sat down dropping the books with a loud thud in front of me. Confused was the least you could say I was.
"Has anyone seen Max?" The teacher squinted his already freakishly small eyes and scanned the classroom. Everyone shrug their shoulders as on a joint count. He checked off something on the sheet of paper he had lying before him, assuming the abscent box, and carried on as usual. I threw a sneaky glance behind me and noticed Harry wasn't paying any attention to the fact that class had started. I wrinkled my forehead, I thought he'd be excited to be here, being new and all. Well, that's not a concern I was going to add to my pile. I had plenty of that product.
"Quick pop quiz, eager students. How much of our DNA consist of the exact same DNA as every other human?"
"99.9 %."
If I twisted my neck 180 degrees at that speed many more times I was going to snap it. Harry, fumbling with getting his pen to not fall off of its position behind his ear. Unaffected by the entire class' watchfulness.
"Um, have you come to the right classroom?" Professor Cooper asked, wrinkling his forehead. I made a hissing sound, clenching my teeth, stopping myself from politely dissuade him from quickening his emerging wrinkles.
"I'm Harry." He remained seated in his chair with the most uninterested look on his face. Then he looked up. "I'm new."
"I didn't get any information about a new kid... Well, I can't do anything but to welcome you here!"
Harry replied with nothing but a tiny smile and a nod. Professor Cooper cleared his throat and picked the pop quiz back up where he'd lost focus. Before the time my brain had registrered the action to raise my right arm, the question had already been answered 10 feet behind me.
