Jeremiah drove me to school on his motorcycle and we rehearsed. I asked Jeremiah to play Myles, whereas I played myself.
"Uhh, Myles, I've got something to tell you." I said.
"What is it?" (Jeremiah) Myles asked.
"I like you. A lot." I said.
"Are you serious?" Jeremiah asked.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Are you seriously going to ask him like that?"
"Well, uhh, how am I supposed to say it?"
"With a bit more enthusiasm."
"Oh. Okay." I said.
I started again.
"Myles, I've got something to tell you." I said.
"What?" (Jeremiah) Myles asked.
"I like you. I have had a crush on you since we were 5 and I never told you because I thought that it would ruin our friendship, but now I think that this will make our friendship stronger! Don't date my sister because she's a bitch!" I exclaimed.
Jeremiah shook his head.
"What now?" I asked annoyed.
"Let's switch roles. I'll be you and you'll be Myles."
I raised an eyebrow.
"Fine. Whatever."
He took a deep shaky breath.
"Myles, I like you. I have liked you for quite some time now, and I hope that you reciprocate my feelings."
Damn.
"That was great!" I enthused.
"Okay, now you try."
I took a deep breath.
"Myles, I like you. I have liked you for a long time and I hope and pray that you feel the same way."
Hey, that rhymed!
"Good. That's good. Keep rehearsing that."
We continued that for 5 minutes until my sister and Myles pulled on to campus. We approached the car. A crowd had already formed around them, so I didn't know how I was going to tell Myles without the entire school knowing.
"I'll handle it." Jeremiah whispered.
I bit my lower lip hesitantly.
"Okay."
Myles and Diana got out making a bit show of pecking each other on the lips. Myles looked extremely happy to be with Diana, and for some reason, that hurt. Jeremiah jumped on top of Myles's car.
"Jeremy! What're you doing?" Myles asked incredulous.
Slowly, Jeremiah started to take his shirt off. What a crazy, psychopathic, idiot. Anyway, this was my chance. Myles shielded his eyes and walked towards the school building. Apparently, Diana was too concentrate on his chisled body to notice that her boyfriend left.
"Hey Myles!" I said.
He turned around and smiled.
"Hey, Quinton. How're you?"
"Good."
"Are you still dating Jeremy?"
No.
"Apparently so."
"I'm surprised he didn't cheat on you yet."
Me either.
"Well, he changed."
